I've got FTTP, I can multiplex 4 connections on the equipment I have ... for 400mbit .... I'm sorry the stupid people of australia voted the liberals in and screwed everybody, every way, they could possibly think of ... you should probably feel lucky you didnt ask our government for 'protection' from someone worse, because that **** sends you to Nauru .... and the ping from there is BAD ...
I don't vote i'm not allowed.. Thats said even if i did it wouldn't be those Liberals.
On topic i'm actually classed as rural so i only can get Telstra which on a good day is garbage.. I think PGI sould have a SEA and an Oceanic tbh.

Now that i think about it, why don't we just relocate the EU server?

I'd rather have PGI to run only two servers. NA server, and SEA server.
How about we just cancel the SEA server and be done with it?

For the people preemptively complaining about their ping it should be a rock solid ~60 or less from Sydney. And ~60 from Singapore while the SEA-ME-WE-3 cable works and they are routing over it. If you have a garbage ISP, expect nothing to change.

I had 130ms to singapore (on a good day) from Brisbane Aus, so i'm guessing 130 will be about what i get to WA..
From brisbane to perth I get around 70-80 so still a ton better than to singapore and I am still nowhere near getting the NBN.
The Issue I see with perth is the increased ping for the NA players

Before these Tests began, I was getting 'Ping > 260' to the Original Location (Singapore), which wasn't good at all. During the First Round, I was getting 'Ping > 300' to Sydney, which was definitely worse. It would be nice to see it get better worldwide for everyone to the Server in that Locale, better than it has been to those two other spots.

[Edit by Post Author because they forgot some Formatting... Dangit, whoops!]
So mine before move:
NA: 275
EU: 191
OS: 245
Post move:
So mine before move:
NA: 275
EU: 191
OS: 350-2000
So hoping the move will bring it back down below 300, above 300 its a guessing game with hit registration.
Can't wait to move to EU , single and double digit pings, what a concept

NA only - like faction OR all servers - like quickplay?
as long as everyone at pgi did their homework this time, perth should be a better solution than the sydney server that was routing via west coast usa

I don't live near Australia... My general Ping for North America is ~90 and Europe is ~165 as a reference. And no, I don't happen to use TPG either, whoever the heck they are.
