best situation is when opponents and team are both bad, then you got enough time to do a lot of damage.

I would hazard a guess that it has something to do with putting more than 1 or 2 points of armour on your rear, I tend to load 10 - 20 on my Assaults and have 0 problem with backstabbing lights.
