Thanks for Solaris. But you need a lot to fix.
Why should I wait for so many downloads? Make a button after the fight - "NEXT PLEASE". In order not to load back into the mechlab for a long time.
Divide the divisions into classes mechs. Medium with mediums, heavy with heavy, light with the LIGHT and assolty with assoltami. So it's hard to understand what this will be the best balance?
Why did you mix different classes with each other? Was it not clear to you that stupid players would take only 100 cars?
Only crabs, atlases and aniligators. Against mediums and heavys.
Why are there so few mechs clans in the 6th and 7th divisions? Clans do not have the right to play with classmates by tonnage?
In a month people will be sick of 100 ton blunt mechs
And say already at last. Sponsors are available only for top 10 players? or for the top 1000?

Wow. I was incredibly disappointed about 1vs 1 and it is even worse than I imagined!
In my one, and almost certainly only stupid Solaris 1 vs 1 drop, I dropped in a Hellbringer and my opponent dropped in a mech more than 50% larger, a king crab! 100tons vs 65! Yea!
That was so fun that I will almost certainly never click on "Solaris" again.
It is really amazing that with so many areas that might have been improved the bucket keepers at PGI spent a ton of time making something terribly unbalanced and already available but unused.
I get it. You don't want any more of my money. You are probably going to be very successful at that!

Yet another enormous disappointment. I don't understand why this developer consistently can't get basic stuff right.
I reinstalled the game for Solaris 7, and played a few matches. I realized immediately that you essentially can only play this game with assaults, because that is 100% what you will be fighting. I dropped with my wife - I was in a heavy, she was in a medium. We got matched with a pair of Atlas. We waited a few minutes, dropped again, got the exact same dudes again.
I tried a few solo matches and it was pretty much the same thing. I drop in a TBR, I'm fighting a Annihilator. If you want to have a chance, you need to be in a 100 ton mech so you can run into the center and circle strafe until someone wins.
Good job, another huge waste of everyone's time. I can't wait until December to see how you guys screw up Mechwarrior 5.

Let me start by saying I am an average player. That said I don't think the tonnage difference in the tiers is that big of a deal. I have been owned in my Atlas by heavy mechs, and I have owned Assault mechs in heavies and mediums.
In my limited experience thus far pilot shooting accuracy is the biggest difference. Also exploiting the mechs weakness. If you are in a more maneuverable medium mech like a huntsman going against an Atlas you have to use your mobility and target the same section of the mech repeatedly. Spreading damage = BAD!!!!
Now if the person in the Assault mech can shoot it will be tougher for you, so you must avoid face time.
Additionally I have significantly changed the way I load my mechs out for Solaris.
I do things like reduce ammo and increase heat sinks. Running cool seems to be most important for how I play. For a super accurate player a high alpha might be better since they wont have to shoot as much I need to for the same amount of damage.
So far I try to stay away from missile's, SRMs and MRMs I do use sparingly on some builds. Ironically I love how LBXs and boating small lasers and pulse lasers work.
Anything with a minimum range is bad!
Not sure if any of this will help, but I have found this version of the game to be a lot of fun. Even when I'm getting owned. Getting owned actually makes me think about changing my tactics and builds and try again.
PS. on and IS medium or above XLs are a bad idea. You can get away with them on the lights in most cases, and even the PXH-1K (maybe a few others I haven't tried). But if you run into someone with a high alpha that can shoot you will probably die in one to two shots.

Skill tree gone/simplified yet? Can we make a global skill tree and/or have presets? I want to hop back into the game sometime but this is one of the reasons I simply wont make a comeback.
Also. C-SPL buffed yet? Light mech scale reduction or is this still about Lore and Roleplay and not about balance?

I think Heavy Mechs and Medium Mechs versus Assault Mechs in Division 3 needs some looking into. I mainly play Division 3 with my Hellbringer and managed to get some wins in 1v1 and 2v2, but I have to try very hard to win in Division 3.
Here are some balance issues I hope gets looked into:
1. Give some power up items for the different maps, make it more like a Quake death match... you could put mech medi packs or temporary bonus items located in different parts of the maps.
2. Each different division should have different maps to suit the different tonnage and competitiveness of the different mechs. This means that if you have LRMs then a map suited for LRM combat would be chosen, basically your loadouts determines the maps given instead of using the current map pool and banning system.
3. Give more rewards for winning, currently it is so low level of reward
So please look into the issues I have highlighted and also please do not wait for 3 months to make Solaris 7 more casual play friendly for mechs that are not exactly very optimum for all levels of play.

**NO, go play CoD or Quake or w/e FPS frat boy shooter they are playing now. THIS IS MECHWARRIOR it is a mech sim you play in the first person. Stop asking for handouts and crutches**

**STOP USING LRMS! Change your build to suit the map not have the devs do it for you.**
3. Give more rewards for winning, currently it is so low level of reward
**The rewards are fine for playing for 5mins on a 1min c/d.**

**It's the pilot not the mech**
First off you have to remember this is only the FIRST season. Every three months they are going to look at all the data and redraw the lines. THIS IS NOT PERMANENT.
Second you have to totally alter your thinking. You don't have 11 other people to hide behind and coddle you. Learn tactics. If you are in a different weight class don't brawl, hit and run....Shoot the legs...trust me armour has been shaved there.
Third (more like 2B) start rethinking your builds. These matches are no more then 5 mins. You need to go for high heat efficiency builds. Either high burst and then run or sustained low heat dps. Also head back into the skill tree and MAX OUT SURVIVAL. This gives you a edge more then anything else.
Fourth...YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE. Yes I know most pilots out there think they are Gods and can't lose and if they do it's their teams fault. But sorry no. These things happen. A bad crit and you lose your main weapon, the other guy gets the drop on you or you just miss all your shots. IT HAPPENS. Shake it off, learn from it and go again. Maybe switch to another Div for a while. GET OVER YOURSELF, you are not that good anyway. I am not. I am basically holding my own with a 1.00 win rate, but I am having fun. Which is more then I was in QP.
Solaris 7 has freshened up Mechwarrior for me and a lot of people. There are now new builds to try and new tactics to employ. So stop playing one game getting owned and crying on the forums. Or just go back to QP and hiding behind buildings hoping you teammates will give you a lock on so you can fire your LRMs uselessly from 999m away. And let the real Mechwarriors fight.

I already won 6 games in 1v1 & 2v2, so I got my wins legit. Everyone got a opinion, no harm making things more exciting so I think things should change.
