GIFTING MC HAS ARRIVED!

You asked for it and we (finally) delivered!

You can now gift MC to players directly from the

Gift Store

under the MC & Premium Time header.

Gifting MC is simple!

Once you've selected the MC package and completed the purchase you'll receive an email with your Gift Code and a separate email containing your receipt. This Gift Code can then be given away or you can redeem it yourself here

I like this feature. This will be helpful for those who have unit with members who can't spend cash to buy colors and decals for their units or people who are running community events with tournament prizes.

Gift card is a nice comparison, so people can freely choose or aquire something not offered in a gift store package.

How does the gifting work around redemption? If i get a code now and the recipient waits until the next sale to redeem, do the get the normal mc value of when code was purchsed? Or will they get the bonus amount at the time of redemption? Also, how long do the gift codes last for? Can i buy a stock of codes now to say hand out as prizes for inhouse tournaments and contests throughout the year?

Thanks to PGI for getting MC and Premium Time into the Gift Store. It's great to have the option of purchasing MC directly for yourself (through the MC tab at the top of the page) or for someone else (through the Gift Store). While I don't have a shortage of MC or Premium Time, I'll ask on the community's behalf ...

PGI, would you consider running a sale on MC and Premium Time to celebrate their introduction into the Gift Store?

For the purpose of the loyalty mechs, who gets the reward when MC is gifted? Is it the person who purcahses or the person who reedems it? I would assume the former but I just want this clarified.

1250MC = 1 week of service
3000MC = 2 weeks of service
6500MC = 1 month of service
12000MC = 2 months of service
25000MC = 3 months of service

Not a solid foundation but it's a start.

Of course you could lay out your own terms of agreement

Interestingly enough, unit members could use this as a way to recruit new players to their unit easier. Unit leaders could use this as a way to enact a "color-code" rule so to say if the unit or members are rich enough. The way how I see it, it's essentially a way for units to pay for a member's uniform, just like a parallel to other professional sports like the NFL, MLB, NBA, etc. As to where since you have been paid to play for that team, you must fulfill your obligation and represent them by putting on their uniform.
