I know this is really unfair, the Commando would win literally every time. Posted Image

My launcher is stuck patching - patch 1 of 2....

Tried, running the repair tool, and manually downloading the patch and making a cache folder.

Any ideas?

Mark Nicholson is a dev that can actually play well (even though he was in a hero Assassin)! Good game Mark!

Rewards for achievements in the new Solaris achievements are so low, that it is an insult to my honour and integrity as an mech pilot.

PGI if you are such cheapskates, that you do not want to give me c-bills for the achievements, why have you introduced the solaris achievements at all?

I don't know, I have been getting pretty good rewards, I have tons of ACC, but I have no idea how to spend it! I would like to get the stuff from my Caches though.

Nice, my Centurion "Ragnar" is starting to win more than lose!

To say something positive:

I like the feel of Solaris. I like Duncan Fisher. I like the 1 vs 1 in Division 7.

Hit the owned tab in camo specs.

Mechs with available Bolt-On geo include; Centurion, Kodiak, Banshee, Atlas, Griffin, Mad Dog, Firestarter, Urbanmech, and Rifleman. Dunno about any others at this time.

It only shows "owned" for the specific mech. I have two bolt ons and want to know what mechs they might go to.

Heeey... why does my Founder's Atlas suddenly have a big dumb blue stripe down the middle of its face?!? Please put it back, I loved the look of that mech... the original Atlas Skulls were way better than the redesigns...

I'm trying to help you find them, not help you fix PGI's lack of forethought regarding bolt-on allocation. Go to the store and look through the mechs I listed. You should find them there.

Things that need to be addressed:
1. Load in times after a match back to the mech bay, I don't know about other people but I went from (what feels to be) 30ish seconds after clicking 'end match' to a full 1 minute 14 seconds (yes, I used a stopwatch). This is unacceptable and makes me not want to play until it's addressed and rectified.
2. An option to turn off the cache progress popup. There's a progress bar, I don't need a popup.
3. An option to turn off the new mech bay and return to the old one. It's only really needed for camo patterning and decal selection. If the new mech bay is the primary reason for load times then an option to turn off the new system seems like a good thing, with the option to turn it on when entering the camo section.

I'm sorry, I don't see anything in the store. It's just the usual mechs for sale, with S7 divisions added. There's no way to camo-spec unbought mechs.

I think it has been like that since they did the most recent visual pass on the Atlas.

Hold on. Let me screencap this for you, because I need to do this or I'll feel bad.

Huh. So apparently PGI doesn't like my image hosting site. Perfect.

So, step one; Click on the big gold tab that says 'store'.

Step two; From there, choose one of the mech weight classes; Light, medium, heavy, or assault.

Step three; Then, choose which mech you want to look at-one of the listed, in this particular case.

Step four; When you click on said mech so that it appears in the right-hand side of the screen, there should be an option near the right center that says 'view in mechlab'.

Step five; Click on that link, and it will take you to a mechlab, where a notice will tell you that any changes you make will not be saved.

Step six; Go to the "Camo Specs" portion of the mechlab, visible on the top left-hand side of the screen.

Step seven; upon clicking the "Camo Specs" tab, you should see the mech moved to the center of the screen, and a menu on the right. Go to that menu, and click the fourth tab, which should say "Bolt-Ons".

Step eight; When you have reached the "Bolt-Ons" tab, go above that just a tad. There should be three circles, one saying "Owned" in the center. Highlight the "Owned" circle. Any Bolt-Ons that you own for that chassis should then be visible.

1. In the portrait you can see the old Founder Atlas face
2. Here a Normal Atlas
3. Here the new Founder Atlas

If possible I prefer the old one back.

Yes, this works, but is laughably unintuitive! It is ridiculous to have to click through Mech after Mech until you find the one that has the bolt-on. Really, if you select "owned" you should see all of your owned bolt-ons and each bolt-on should say which Mech it is for.

So is 2v2 only if you drop as a group? Disappointing. Probably going to play a lot less since then it'll just be constant matches of circling while trying to take out the other's legs.
