I prefer the Lego cuboids to the flat teeny-tiny squares, but dropping hardpoints is just... no.

Already did if you ask me with it's arms but oh well. Will play anyway, tried to get them fixed but it's not going anywhere faster. Might as well not stress on it, far more important things in life going on there.

Banshee was ok. I played it for lulz... Anyhow it was bad, because people primaried it anyways.

It fits nicely with my dual vindicator drop deck :) No need to nerf tbh from FW perspective.

You're all missing the point of why OP is so angry, although he should have just said it himself. Do you want to know WHY the hardpoints were changed on the Banshee?

Solaris 7 Bolt Ons. The old arrangement got in the way of the gaudy bits that could be added to the mech, so the hardpoints were changed to make the job easier for the artists. Prove me wrong.

Would also add with the Lego boxes. They couldn't fit them all up high like they were before.

Ah. Got home and now I see. Well, RIP. Not that I liked it that much but it certainly did not deserve that.

Also, retrofitted rifleman with RACs and lasers in the arms looks even more ridiculous now.

Like seriously, WTF? They are just lasers. They small and they weight 1 ton each, why is that box is so damn long?

In this case it is because of the original long barrel weapons on the original pictures. As PGI is incapable (lazy) of modelling different types of lasers, the long barrel large laser on the original pictures in PGI model is the same as a medium laser. Or a micro laser, by the way...

Not to speak about their problem with the scale of the weapons...

Lazy work.

Oh wow. I didn't notice this until you brought it up. This is total BS. The whole damn reason I own this mech was due to the high mounted hardpoints. Pretty ****** of PGI to make a change like this, especially when there is no justification for it. Yeah, Yeah we know it was part of the weapons geometry pass but you would fricken think PGI would have at least attempted to mimic the design that has been in the game for god knows how long. They obviously have the room to put a second mount on the left side to mimic what they have on the right and easily could have tucked the 3rd mount on the right side just under the two mounts that exist. This is really just a blatant FU to anyone who thought of this mech as their favorites.

Don't get me wrong. I don't think it broke the mech totally but honestly no matter how you look at it, it is a pretty huge nerf to the capability of the mech compared to how it used to be. Low mounts are never a good thing at least if performance is what your looking for.

Duh. Just looked and the F'ed up the 3S as well by moving 2 of the Energy mounts on the right shoulder down to waist level. This really kind of messes with my build synergy big time. Fracking hell.

Do you have a screenshot of comparison? I really have no clue what the change is, you just circled the energy points, what mech variant is this?

Incorrect, this is part of the Civil War weapon overhaul. It's to incorporate the new weapon visuals like light and heavy PPCs, RACs, MRMs, Rockets, etc.
