I think Fafnir Wrath is the best juggernaut mech.

Especially Wrath has a E.C.M. Therefore, it is somewhat safe from enemy LRM or ATM.

Fafnir's height is quite small of the assualt mechs and fafnir's arm also covers his side torso just like Mad Cat MK II.

However, Wrath has the lowest Armor Quirks in the Inner Sphere 100-ton Battle Mechs. Besides Armor Quirks were provided only torsos.
(Fafnir has CT 20 & LT/RT 15 Armor Quirks, It's Lower than king crab's armor Quirks)

I think that is Fafnir's weakpoint.

What are your thoughts?

Youre all weapons are short range , even with all range skill somewhere to 290 meter.
Youre slow with even with 52,7 kph. This is not enough on some brawling map on either.
The boring only Asrm6 and Autocannon 20 meta.
So you are one of the Metawarriors who cant think anything new or unique from yourself ?
Plus the ultra20 is the worst choice ,sometimes jam after the first tap and when youre enemy has AMS the Asrms6 doing very little damage.

Im using this and i have great sucess on open maps to as polar and frozen city ,tourmaline desert etc. etc.

Lasers, missiles , gauss and ams .With these you can help youre teammates who are outside youre 290 meter bubble and you have active defense against missiles not only ecm.

For a player that knows how to brawl with assaults in QP, that is perfectly fine.

And the Fafnir Wrath is Division 2 in Solaris; with minor adjustments, that sort of build would work well there.

isUAC20 does fine, jam rates are acceptable even without any jam quirks.

AMS does very little against regular SRMs due to their high velocity. Only 1 or 2 SRMs are intercepted by AMS per volley.

Those are terrible builds, far inferior to what the OP posted.

I like how the 2nd guy likes to waste assualt mech armor buy trying to play sniper.... that thing is entirely useless where it needs to be.

@OP my only thought is maybe swap the ac/20 out for a heavy gauss if it'll fit, thinking that thing is going to run extremely hot and might provide something to fire on the cooldown. Or just cool shot it and plant a couple rounds of 91 dmg bursts that works too

Just something i've noticed in game though is once a fafnir is engaged they tend to stay that way until dead.
