did they tone the graphics down in the mech bay in the last patch? it looks terrible but its MUCH faster than it used to be.

Maybe check your video settings if your textures and details is set to max?

I know some of the older mechs still have 2k textures while the newer ones have 4k textures. I think Russ even mentioned that in one of the recent streams saying the new mechlab was really exposing that.

Not so far as I'm aware. AFAICT, we can just look around the bay now instead of having a fixed view.

And it's weird that I'm only now just realizing that the "Mech Bay" is actually the interior of a Leopard Dropship instead of being some generic factory or hangar on a planet somewhere.

this is probably what it is since I'm looking at mostly older mech chassis. Let me look at something newer and see.

edit:

Maybe it is that everyting has this sheen and shine to it and it make everything look terrible. I can see a difference though because newer things like the sun spider and older things like an atlas but the shine doesn't help either one.

know what....its odd, the whole game looks worse for some reason. Like nothing has depth and the textures look washed out, flat, and fuzzy.

Wonder if I need to do the shader delete and file check thing.

this actually sucks and I dont know why. After this patch the whole game is just running really poorly. weird lag in movements, washed out fuzzy textures, poor performance over all. It was not like this before and that saddens me. My computer can handle this but it isn't for whatever reason now.
