They have selcted litteraly the most awfull color. I call it #yucky-yellow

Before, we had different shades of non-eyecancer gold/orange/bronze/whatever. They seem to have simply replaced all gold/orange/bronze/whatever-ish colors with one color: e2 f2 57. And that's not even considered a web-safe color! WTF?

And then there is the MC-button yellow, the RSS deep orange, and finally the PGI logos orange ("we're hiring!") that most likely has been the basis of the websites color scheme to begin with. It just feels uneven and inconsequential. I could accept the yucky-yellow theme as a gag to mark the introduction of Solaris 7. But please do rather create a separate Solaris 7 subsite and return to the original color scheme than to make us all claw our eyes out.

Consider me in SUPPORT as well... When they changed the Site's Style, I also found it a little harder to read, albeit that I have my monitor tuned in such a manner as to not get my eyes blasted out. ^_^

In particular, and would be a Good Expansion to your Idea, I would enjoy PGI taking the time to ADD a Style Switcher. That way, out of the two Site Styles that we've seen, everyone could just simply choose which way they want it. Then both 'Camps' are satisfied, neither to argue with the other, give-or-take maybe requiring a Login to engage your choice. :D
