Off the top of my head, my favourites:
King Crab with 2x UAC10, with 2x ML and 1x MRM10 for backup/secondary damage spraying
Fafnir with 2x LB-20X and 5x MPL (or ERML or ML I don't actually remember off the top of my head)
Mad Cat II hero with 2x UAC10 and 4x MPL
Supernova hero with 2x UAC10, 3x ERML and 1 or 2 LRM15
Warhawk hero with 2x UAC10, 3x HML and an LRM15

Gargoyle Echo easily one of the highest dps mechs inside of 250 meters if you have the kinwolf hero mech omnipods. Most kills in a single push, 7. Documented and have witnesses.

I'm also running a KingCrab-0000 with AC/20, UAC10, 3ML and MRM20. Excellent machines. KingCrab can be devastating, but the Fafnir build is bonkers with 3ML, x2 RAC2 and x2 LB10X.

Im alittle late to the party i see, and i do have a tendency towards unorthodox configs, but I spend a lot of time stretching the possiblities of mech chassis. Alittle while ago I was running a glass cannon type brawler a BAS-hybrid with 5 heavy meds and 5 srm6s with ecm. I can also run a BAS hybrid with either 2 heavy large lasers or 2 clan large pulse lasers with 6 srm6s and ecm. On another path I like to run an atlas with 2 RAC-5s and some secondary stuff like med lasers or srms with ecm. There is a gargoyle config ive used a few times that has just a crapload of small, or micro lasers that can shred most targets, but needs to be run carefully because of heat, and the fragility of the gargoyle chassis. Due to luck, the fortunes of war, the ability of your team or the enemy team, there is no one config that will always win. l)J
