Okay, I saw in the patch notes something about 1850 elo.

Is this how much you need to make this work...how do I use the watch list?

So, i have a super high resolution set up, and just don't see matches in the list?

maybe 2 players with 1850 need to fight, but there is a bug that stats dont update between matches often.

I bet they meant the 1850 to be overall, and it is being filtered per division.
Thanks for the info, but the scroll feature was obvious. 😋 My power was also on, and the cup holder is intact.

I'm not sure how it's meant to work, but it seems the top ranked players aren't playing much. I mean, why risk a 79-0 record against some random when it's unlikely anyone will reach you?

The 2 pilots fighting in that division need to have an elo above 1850 for a match to be in the watch list.
In order for you to see the list and watch a match against those 2 pilots, you also need to have an elo above 1850 for that same division.
This part I believe should be corrected.
I believe any player should be able to watch a match featuring high elo players.

From my understanding everyone can watch a match, just the players fighting need an Elo over 1850.
That said it seams none of the top players is in my region as my I have never seen anyone in no Division playing.

I wish they would just make all matches watchable with a little number at the side informing you about the elo of the players and you decide if you want to watch.

It shows up very rarely . I played alot of solaris but i only seen two watch matchesoffered so far . You just need to keep your eyes open and click as soon as you see one .

I saw a Catapult J fight a Zeus .

I have played quite a lot of Solaris.
I have come upon one single game so far.
Something is not operating the intended way.

You can't risk something when you aren't in danger of losing it. A random has a negligible chance of winning against a top ranked player. Regardless, top ranked players play to climb to Rank 10.

Both pilot needs 1850 elo and to spec it you also need to be above 1850 elo. This is also by division not by total.

why in gods name would you need an 1850 to watch?

Most players will never attain that, i am tier 1 and so far I only have 1850 + in one division

Do you have 1850 ELO in 2v2 for that division?

and I wrote the First massive multiplayer automated online league for Mechwarrior in 1996, including an RPI player ranking system that now is used in college basketball...I didn't do all that because I am an average pilot. Basically, I lose games in Solaris using my favorite mechs vs some meta because of my choices to play honorably...not headshooting or legging just to win and letting the game play out.

The #1 player in Div 1 beat me 3x in a row today, because his mech was just better in those settings through a lot of intentional design and play decisions on his end.

What I am saying is that limiting who can watch should not be ELO based. Maybe just allow "x" viewers and say, "stadium tickets are full" for others who try to watch.

I said it before and I'll say it again: methinks low SSR matches are much more fun to watch. See the dude with 1350 SSR in the Urbie chase the dude with 1380 SSR in the Hunchie IIC through the jungle. And place bets on who shuts down the most.

I still think maybe it would make sense for them to not allow anyone with exactly 1500 SSR to spectate, at least to cut some of the riff raff. It ensures pilots who want to spectate have at least played a match of Solaris in that Division, which I think is reasonable.

I really don't think the problem with the game is too many people wanting to join in...
