Every once in a while in Solaris matches, I've noticed that I'm not hearing my own 'mechs engine sounds, but actually the sounds from the enemy 'mech.
It's obvious, since the engine accel/decel sounds don't sync with my movement.
This will happen from the start of the match, when I'm 700+ meters from the enemy.
I've also heard other cockpit noises, such as "critical damage" sounds, but I've always been close to the enemy in these situations.
Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?

If you can hear the enemys Betty talking you
A) Don't fire enough guns
You have very good ears
C) You drive a cabriolet Mech (not recommend)
D) Something is very wrong with MWO (have you tried to repair your installation?)
And no, never had that problem.

Thanks for the responses. I should try the repair tool.
I will note, seems to happen mostly when I face Kodiaks. Maybe I'll have to record a video, to prove I'm not crazy.

Do you use any soundmods? If so try to take them out and see if it is still happening.

I feel this would be a competitive advantage, you can know when they are moving or what stuff they lost from damage.

Play solaris on the snow map (boreal reach?) . Duncan Fisher is heard twice, as if echoed. This is obvious when you compare his speech to the other maps.

I hear all sorts of weird noises coming from the enemy's cocpit all the time: "[Hitlocation] critical," and "Argh!" and "Ouch, ouch, quit it! Ouch!" On and on. I usually just shoot it some more and it goes quiet.
