So the current challenge has you needing to do 10 damage with a Clan LRM 10 and IS LRM 10. However, I have some friends who just started and do not have clan mechs and cannot complete the challenge since the available Clan trial mechs do no come with LRM10's nor can they be modified. Let me guess. Buy a mech pack?

Missed the part these guys are new? One spent his CBills on a IS Mech and the other is still trying to get enough to buy a mech.

Not everyone can complete every challenge. I bet way more people have at least one IS mech and at least one Clan mech than will be able to complete Try Hard day.

Deal with it, more challenges is always better. If they require specific mechs or something you don't have, maybe consider buying one with C-Bills.

Sorry, but the "Deal with it" mentality is ****. How about PGI actually do a challenge that can be completed by everyone. That would make more sense. [Redacted]

The entire concept of a challenge is that not everyone can complete them.

What are your thoughts on the Challenges for new Mech Packs, where you have to have spent real £££ (or have someone spend it on your behalf) to be able to complete them?

The other month, during the "Lunar New Year" / "Year of the Dog" event, there were 2 'mechs I didn't own. Arctic Wolf & Trebuchet.

I *could* have bought them, but chose not to.

I *could* have complained it was unfair, but chose not to.

Yes, it is somewhat unfortunate that brand new players cannot complete every challenge, if it requires a specific 'mech, weapon or faction. No, that is not unfair.

Forum gonna be even more interesting place during 500 matchscore event. The amount of tears and salt should suffice to establish a small sea somewhere in canadian wastelands.

You're only expected to complete half the challenges as a new player with trial mechs. They're called challenges for a reason.

Apples and oranges on the match score. Everyone has an equal chance to get 500. Not the case here where a brand new player cant even attempt the challenge.

Everyone can complete it... Go play like 5 Faction games or 10 Regular Games or 45 Solaris Games and buy a Clan Light that can run LRMS and AMS.

Done. Stop complaining because you haven't been hand fed today, go play Darksouls and when you GITGUD come back.
