Have you noticed that uac guns are waaaaaaay longer than gauss??

And Ballistic pod - energy pod----> O-o

Yeah after seeing the faction camo video, I lost hope for this mech being good. Wide as a barn, easy distinguishable CT and ST hitboxes. Huge ears that stick WAY UP over the torso that can be hit from any angle negating any ability whatsoever to using Twisting to shield a damaged ST. Low hanging arms and a very awkward, unbalanced look to the hard points.

I did pre-order and don't need a refund but I am glad I didn't also spring for the hero.

If the CT hitbox is really wide and included half the mounts like the fafnir, it may be fine.

I could be wrong but I think that would probably mean an easily cored out CT. Seriously sometimes you can't fix a mech by tweaking its hit box.

Reality is that at the end of the day until we can get it into a match and preferable get full skill builds on the Blood Asp we aren't really going to know how well it plays. I am just seeing alot of warning signs showing up all over the place on this mech because it just looks like it has about every bad characteristic you could have on a mech all rolled into one chassis. Who knows though, maybe it will move like a ballerina, accelerate like a cheetah and have armor quirks that an Annihilator would be jealous of.....Oh wait....it's a clan mech, never mind.

Yes, at the end, quirks make the mech. That happened also with the linebacker.

Eh I some how doubt they will give this thing many quirks guys....it has been painted the king meta monster since this game entered its current era of play (Clan invasion +). Most Clan mechs do not get super quirks, atleast the great ones dont.

If there isn't a second gun in some of those pods, they better cut the size in half or else it's an epic drop in release quality.

How much you guys want to get they did it this way because of the fear of backlash from "OMG ANOTHER OP BROKED CLAN MECH WITH HIGH MOUNTS, UNFAIR TO MY IS MECHS" ect??

I bet it was because of this they didn't use the shoulder pods more...

That four energy left torso looks sooooo bad. Dear lord, that's awful. I think I'll continue to quietly play my Marauder IIC's and pretend this new mech just never happened.

Proposed changes are PLAIN AS DAY to anyone with half a brain.. symmetry and visual aesthetics are IMPORTANT..

But PGI seems to be trying really hard to make one of it's most beautiful designs intentionally ugly.. And less useful..

Come on Devs.. try harder..

I even wouldn't mind if you delay release, but put in the work and make it right..
