Have seen there AI. I think im good.

They could have bought premade ai code. You dont have to reinvent the wheel. It would have kept people playing until real teams showed up.

To be fair Chris has to be objective. Which most players are not. Can't have their precious favorite thing nerfed.

I wouldve been fine with clan lasers getting nerfed.

But this was the absolute worst way to go about it because it upsets multiple builds and forces people to relearn the game

Lowering damage on clan lasers was the correct way to fix them. Not these god awful ghost heat changes.

Yeah, some need to learn to use more then one button point and click now, good change.

And noone needs to rebuild their mech, they just need to staggerfire, Posted Image

For many clan lasers, it is already difficult to hold the beam on to where you want to shoot. Already, after a short period of being on point, your target moves (causing your damage to splash to other components) or move away (leaving you burning lasers, generating heat, for no benefit). Staggering fire only helps in some situations -- and is implemented in an incredibly user-unfriendly way where if you're off in your timing by 0.01 seconds, you'll get slammed with potentially fatal ghost heat.

Requiring macro software to run what were common builds, in a much less damage-and-heat-efficient way, seems rather... extreme.

And on that note, having all-or-nothing ghost heat as we have it, has always been nonsensical - why on earth isn't it a sliding penalty? Full penalty when all fired at once, 50% penalty when fired at 0.25 seconds, to 0% penalty at 0.5 seconds?

i welcome it improvise, adapt, overcome.
everyone keeps crapping on about how c-spl's got nerfed when i take my beloved medusa out i see no problems and my damage numbers surprise me.
the 2 issues remaining are the MG boating and dual heavy gauss that can delete most small mechs off the battlfield with luck alone

Why not just make the game stock load outs only and then will all have non boated bracket builds. If we keep ghost heating everything thats where were gonna end up anyway.
