Probably the worst map they have put out yet, event lasts 11 more days...… break time from MWO.

I'm lovin the verticality aspect of it. Lots of flanking routes to keep you on your toes.

Jumpjets, flanking and brawling. Love it.

It's absolute hell if you're in a meta-vomit build though... There's few places you can poke at 800m and hide to cool off in safety. That's a good thing.

Though I still see people managing to thread the many needles of intervening obstacles with ATMs and lurms, so you can't rest completely easy thinking "its a city map, i can run around in the open all I want." I like that. Posted Image

The center is all high rise, but the surrounding sprawl is only one or two stories high - perfect for lobbing lurms over.

Thankfully the fights resolve mostly around the middle.

Oh man, I keep getting my a** kicked on that map, that’s ok though, In time I’ll learn the map, just like when Rubbelite came out.

It runs pretty smoothly on my rig too, which is nice.

I love the map when it comes out, it a sudden change of pace than position and start hill humping or have to run across the outskirts of a map just to flank the enemy.

My brawlers loves this map, my lights love this map more, and my jumpjet parcoring mechs love it the best!!!!!

And recently had a match today on this map with my K-9 got 3 easy back kills while using the builds and alleys as flanking routes it went 12-9 a lost on my part but damn it was fun and such a rush!!!

I do agree though. They neglected to put the most famous bar on the entire planet in the map, Thor's Shieldhall. Literally unplayable. -0/10 PGI pls remove.

It doesn't support incursion and escort, which means it will turn up every 5th drop anyway,

I like the gameplay on it, i don't like playing it many times in a row though. Map selection should really be random.

Also the graphics are very low quality. Lack of detail, lack of good light effects and shadows, blocky sharp edges, flickering textures. Everything looks like a much older game. Why doesn't maxed out graphics settings add more detail and fidelity on this map?

Also wouldn't mind some daylight every other drop to mix it up, why is it so dark all the time?

map is so so

no Union Class drop ships

upper level roads are cat walks

has PGIs favorite design aspect that is very narrow choke points so same same there

a lot of funneling to narrow and or low areas

dark or darker all the time

good things

can I spot Tina contest

its not hot

its new I haven't gone center once

did I mention its not hot

its way better then I thought it would be since its not hot

And it's still among the worst maps, performance wise.

You'd think people would just stop boating LRMs for a while. At least while the anti-LRM map is highly popular due to the event (and lots of ECM on the field due to the BAS release, too). But no. Instead, RNGesus is gonna decide which team is going to play with less Mechs on the field, effectively.

Adapt, Overcome and Survive; and, be thankful that at "least", you have a new map. Hate it, Love it but, for heavens sake, above all, appreciate it........

I love this map to bits, it's a short range map masquerading as a mid range one. There are lots of ways to close on your victims quickly, especially if they're dipshits in laser 'Mechs with no clue how to manage heat. Gud times for my Ember and Kodiak!

I hated the map at first but I can't say it's the worst map in the game at this point. Alpine still wins that prize. The map is a challenge in that Light mechs can nibble away the enemy at the rear and sides with little warning of it happening, which motivates players to stick together in packs (or one large pack) for mutual defense. Meanwhile, an enemy team facing a packed team can pick them apart by spreading out in a curved formation in 3 or 4 streets to put more fire into their foes than the bunched up mechs can return. The bottom line is that the map greatly rewards a team of aggressive fighters. People have to get used to that I guess.

Now, if Grim Plexus could have its stupid bugs fixed to STOP KICKING PLAYERS OUT OF THE MATCH, that would be something I'd like to see PGI get on top of.

People are mad it doesn't cater to the current meta. Even on Terra-T you can alpha poke and hide to cool off. In the city doing so is a risky gambit, somebody spots you and it's all over since they have cover and multiple routes with which to approach.

I've run out of fingers and toes to count how many people I've seen pop themselves so far because they don't have the discipline to brawl and enter panic mode when an enemy is sub 200m.
