Hey, 'Mechwarriors!

I haven't played every 'Mech yet by a long shot. Just wondered what if you had a least favourite cockpit as far as view and detail, and maybe a least favourite? I like how you can see the gyro in the Mad Dog, and I hate the stupid red bars in my raven that makes it look like you are being hit when you aren't.

Any thoughts? Obviously this question is one of those ones that's just for fun, unless there is a cockpit out there that is so awful I wouldn't want to drive one...

My favorite is a toss up between the Locust 1V, the Bushwacker X2 and the Dragon family all of those make my feel at home... least favorite... probably the Atlas or Dire Wolf... or anything too restrictive on view fields... what can I say, I like my side windows.

The Awesome feels like you're sitting in couch. I like the Firestarter cockpit because it feels like you're really close to the action and could die at any moment.

Griffin is great, as is Wolverine. Awesome viewable angles.

Atlas and Thanatos are some of the worst i own.

Victor, Banshee, Black Knight, Mauler, Annihilator.

Hmm... Mad Dog, Wolverine, Zeus, Ebon Jaguar, Timber Wolf, Rifleman and Grasshopper are probably my favorites.

Shadow Hawk, Locust and Jenner ( any jenner ) the ones I like the least.

Huntsman. The ball fan really improves mechwarrior performance.

Urbie, hands down, no contest, etc. It has far and away the most personality of any 'Mech cockpit, IS or Clan. The rolls of duct tape, tongue-in-cheek customizations, and "fix me" notes do a great job of selling a centuries-old machine that's been handed down from one pilot to another and lost or gained a little something each time.

Marauder. Feels like I'm sitting in a fighter jet... with lasers and stuff. Roughneck cockpit also feel nice, wide and roomy. Can't enjoy pretty much any Clan cockpits I sat in though, too simplistic and, well, ugly.

Worsts:lct-1v (p) don't have it but it sure does suck from when I've watched others use it.

Urbie has the most character, but I came up in locusts and they are so bad while needing so much to be aware of what’s going on around you, they have a special place in my view obscured heart.

My non-ironic favorite: Hunchback. I like the open glass look. Also, it resembles the cockpits from Gundam, so I associate the look with humanoid robots.

My favorite because of how terrible it is: Phoenix Locust. Because at some point someone decided that looking cool was more important than being able to see out of the cockpit.

Mad dog not just because im biased but also because of the whirlygig thats supposed to be a gyro ,

The dashboards in my cougars look like crap but ive learned how to love them, but having two ac/lbx2's in the top mounts is awesome because those guns will be right in your face.



The urbanmech even though i rarely pilot it for the above mentioned reasons

I think my favorite cockpit is still the Raven. The Raven just makes you feel like you are in a fighter cockpit. To me, no other cockpit has quite as sleek of an appearance.
