Also I expect its hitboxes to be pretty nice. The very slim profile should make it nice and easy to spread damage or avoid it altogether.

See no reason lore wise, why I should grab it. Sad, I love grabbing IS mediums, like collecting them.

How about because it exists in lore. I mean if your a collector an all, that is all that should matter.
Outside of lore, you have to look to the strengths and flaws of the mech and aside from it being too similar to the Assassin, it looks like it has most of what is required to be at the very least an above average performer.

One of the major problems right now is how bloated the mech selection is. Why should I buy a new mechpack when I have umpteen other mechs left to completely skill out? And if I'm going to buy mechs, why not just buy a mech that is already in game and is a known factor with good performance?
I feel like I could just buy an ASN-21 with c-bills and call it a day.
I may buy it, but I really wanted PGI to sell me on it (on other than appearance, that is). Hero looks ok, but everything else? I'm just scratching my head.

(With armor quirks, CT armor is full)
Psychomech was an idea i once had while drunk. And incredibly, it performs extremely well. Thus i hope to repeat this build with the Vulcan. Psychomech MK2
The variant will be depended on the quirks. The 2T, 5S and 6M are possible candidates
A Gauss version with an XL250 is also possible....But XL+ Gauss in ST.......how boy

the vulcan just seems like a really strange choice. there are plenty of other mechs that have more nostalgia appeal and more promise in terms of performance. i'm not upset that we're getting the vulcan, but i definitely don't think it's going to sell.
