Yeah, no, OP. It's called "adapt and overcome", not "snivel and moan". Warfare isn't always going to be balanced or fit your specific loadout. While lights are desperately annoying, it's just another facet to the game. They're not unkillable and radar dep be countered by tactics and sensible play.

I'm sure everyone already verbally beat down OP for being a bit of a nob, but god damn, maybe you people actually try piloting a frikking light before complaining? LRM boats don't deserve any attention or respect, they are already ez mode, and streaks are so powerful against lights it's good when they got a chance to survive.

Seriously, there should be a rule requiring you to play a bunch of matches as light before you can complain about them.

If I got half my team and maybe some cover between me and the Fafnir, then yes, it's super ez mode.

edit: Actually went LRM'in again, been a long time since I've done that. So I load up my 2xLRM15/2xLRM10+2xMG/2xSML Jäger up, shoot away 50 lrm packages with help of a macro (not stream, just to avoid ghost heat), turns out it's still supa ez.

Compare that to piloting a light, which I always need a while to get used to.

First, 1v1 doesn't matter in a team game, it's a meanigless proposition.

Secondly, "if you met scenarios confirming your assumptions then it has obviously to be affected by artificial factors"? That's textbook delusion.

How about this for an answer... I took you out solo while all but 4 of your team (and only 2 lights on the other side of the map left alive for my team for my team) were alive a couple days ago, and you were in an Annhilator. (I was in my FNR-5(S)) If 6 people plus you couldn't take me out solo before I killed you in your near-full-health Anni, what makes you think I would have any trouble getting you in your LRM boat?
