$15 will net you 3900 MC. Mechbays on sale for 150. That's 26 freakin mechbays. If you wanna play as free as possible. Mechbay sales are your best bang for your buck.

26 mech bays is probably more than most players will ever need, at least 6+ months of heavy game play to fill and master all those slots.

Which PGI probably knows. If players invest in mechbays. Then they'll feel more compelled to keep playing. And if not. PGI got what they could out of them. :3

Need? Nobody “needs” any at all, but many of us like to keep a stable of over a hundred mechs. Funny you mention 6+ months, when I stopped playing in season 16 (recently returned), I had been playing since season 9, and had 97 mechs, about 1/2 of them mastered. 50% off mechbays used to happen twice a year, start of summer and Xmas, 30ish mechbays sounds perfect for a newer player to start thier pokemech collection. Alongside premium time, which is slightly more luxurious, I would say cheap mechbays should be a foundation of your spending on the game. Fifteen bucks is also a fairly reasonable ask of most people. You can play for nothing, but your stable will be bursting at the seams, maybe 15-30 mechbays a year, between free mechs, event MC, and cache MC with 100% partipation in giveaways and events.
