Hope PGI knows about this and rethinks about not adding quads.

Umm. You sure he would pilot a metal elephant/ warthog hybrid? Needs more armour 
But this is promising.
Im believe that mechs can see the future. No problem and as with thanks, airplanes, ships. Mechs wouldnt replace anything but found its way to best assist in warfare. I mean we live on just ONE planet. Who knows what lighter and sturdier metals lie beyond this globe that could be more useful on bipedal tanks than threaded ones? We also got real life myomer going, so thats a thing.
The lack of imagination and faith in the crazy things we humans can do and accomplish is baffling. Im all for healthy skeptics, but one sided doubters? No.
People said we would never fly ( kinda ) like birds and take to the skies. Well wattuaknow!
People said we would never be able to travel to the moon. *coughs*
More examples of we humans underestimating ourself.
Mechs WILL be a reality.
We only need the right material, investors, invest in the right tech tree so we dont choose A.I/ remote controlled warfare over newer vehicle techs and make sure human piloted mechs wont be ignored as an useful piece of destructive and constructive power.

Yes he's cra cra and ergo would pilot anything quad (imo ® © tm) but yes agreed needs more armor...
More importantly it would need shootaz to be tru mexzzz.
