So, why not advertise Solaris 7 to the player base old and new by running a Solaris 7-based event?

Whenever I play I'm lucky if there's more than four other people playing it across *all* divisions. It'd be nice to inject some players into it.

I can't help but feel a lot of people played at the start, saw how little C-bills you made per match, then went back to QP. I know it's been buffed to a more appropriate amount, but the first impression has already been made, and it needs incentive for people to play it over QP for a few days to redress the balance.

They may be waiting to be sure everything is in a good state.

If they have an event, everyone would need to refit, 90% will get slaughtered because they won't realize it.

Image a "win 5 Solaris matches" , if top 100 players are on, a big percentage of players would have a real hard time.


So, maybe they can make a trial Solaris mech that is correctly outfitted, or 7 then do an event

I bet they simply do not have a way to run S7 events yet (i.e. it was not done/programmed at the launch of it).

Otherwise I see no reason why they would not have run one yet/ right after its launch.

The slaughter of players...

I imagine that I could beat 2 players who are unfamiliar with Solaris at the same time. With their back armor on high, lrms and unfamiliarity with the maps.

Why have an event for a dead feature?

Solaris had such huge potential, but sadly it was dead on arrival due to .. well.. everything, it's just plain bad.

It was going to be what saved MW:O for me, gave me some reason to keep playing.. been many weeks since last i played now, and I see no change for the better.

I just come here in hope of some good news.. however unlikely that seems to be.
And I am afraid that the horrific implementation of Solaris has actually made even more people quit.

So.. yeah.. that's why there aren't any events for it. Because it's bad.. and dead.
