I wasn't really around for the past few years but I'm under the impression that one of the previous tournament packs offered a Centurion of some kind? Am I mistaken or?

If it'd were a good deal on it's own then I wouldn't buy it, but you know it is so I'll buy it.

Also I think stock mode will be interesting at the very least. Weren't people complaining about that last year? Like the matches not being interesting?

I seriously can't stop laughing at all the supposedly competitive players that are upset they can't play their meta mechs and now have to adapt to something new. Seriously, if your skilled, you should just be able to adapt to the challenge. You just test out a bunch of stock mechs until you find one that works for you and then use it in the tourney. I mean EVERYONE is going to be in the same boat so no one is going to have any advantage, in fact since it takes everyone outside their comfort zone you actually have a completely level and balanced playing field for this tournament. Isn't this what comp players want???

I'm going to be supporting this year for the first time BECAUSE it's stock mechs. It took balls to come to that decision.

Eh. I'm not participating. And probably won't watch. Honestly they need to work on the camera stuff for watching the games. And some better announcers, no offense to them, just wasn't fun to watch.

But it being stock wouldn't stop me from buying the support pack. ;o

Somebody not liking a change doesn't automatically mean they can't adjust to it, they might just not like the change. I could adjust to mwo becoming like most shooters and just having one health pool across the mech but I wouldn't like it.

And everybody had access to all the same mechs and the mechlab in previous WC as well.

5$ would be waaaaaaaay better than 10$

I don't really need the cBill bonus, I don't want the badges or titles. The only thing I do want is the warhorns but paying 10$ to get one warhorn just feels stupid to me. I already have something like 200 standing items I don't use.

Judging from the extra goodies I got from all those events thanks to Tourney pack, I'd say I got at least $50 worth of stuff by paying mere $10. That's good deal.

I frankly don't care if the tournament is "small lasers only with Locusts".

Not playing in it, the only observation I apply to the tournament pack is "How does that $10 benefit me?". That it adds to the prize pool for small laser Locusts has nothing to do with that, or stock 3039 only, etc. etc.

I'm not doing tourney so in end doesn't matter what mode they make it. BUT stock is prob best thing could happen to MWO.
AND I bought the tourney pack. Small investment big pay out.

Looks like pgi forgot to update their sound cloud. Last year's war horn were worth getting and I wouldn't have bought them until hearing them changed my mind. the xp boost was nice for skilling up some very sub par mechs.
