Probably skip the medium mech quest as i dont have any of those and not paining for MC that much . I do believe its possible if i really wanted to make an effort .
I will have to use a Trial mech commando and Quickdraw which is okay I guess.
I will need to buy a Victor though .
I can do the light quest on my clan account .

A number of sale mechs are on my wishlist, but there won't be enough time to get the c-bills required to purchase them all to complete the event.
Still, great game, great event (although its rather exclusionary) and I'll still be playing throughout the event anyway!

To those giving constructive feedback, such as it would be cool to have a 3-3-3-3 mech pack instead of all ten from a single weight class, I say kudo's that feed back is most likely helpful to PGI.
This event seems like it will be fun, and I will participate a bit in it as well. I imagine they are doing this to try and increase the active player base. I know I haven't played the game in a while since I have been completely wrapped up in the HBS BattleTech game since its release.
I would like to add that I can see why they don't want to have a 3-3-3-3 pack. It would allow people that would normally spend real money on this game to spend a lot less money over time. Additionally the cost is so low on the packs they are offering that I would recommend that a new player (or even a veteran player) just pick up a medium and heavy pack. Those would fill out your mechbays with enough variety that you could accommodate any drop weight. Yes it would be nice to have all four weight classes in one purchase, but lets get real, PGI needs to make some cash.
I also have to add that this game is very easy to play completely for free. I have this account, which is my main, plus two alt accounts. One alt is Clan only, the other is IS only. For my two alt accounts I have never spend a dime on any items. I have used the events and giveaways to fill those stables. For each I have over 20 mechs and mechbays to spare. I have accumulated enough MC on events that each has at least one hero mech as well. Just buy heros and mechbays with they are 50% off. I also have a ton of decals and cockpit items, but only a few different paint colors. Colors are definitely the hardest thing to get for free in the game.
This account, which is my main account, I buy stuff often enough. Grant it I have significantly reduced what I do purchase over the past year or so. Most of my purchases in the past were because I wanted mechs early or just wanted to support PGI, knowing they need money to keep this game running.
Cool event all in all. Thanks PGI.

Also this is for sure a very nice opportunity and gesture to new pilots that have just jumped into the Battletech universe, by playing MWO and/ or Battletech. ( dont forget the TT and books! )
Sure a nice sale for vets and rooks that are alredy familiar with Battletech but might not play as often or just missing some mechs in the collection

You need to do something or else most new players are gonna feel very excluded. The easiest suggestion is to completely split the event up to individual chassis but with how you did the tournament supporter pack that's probably a no go. The other thing you could do to alleviate some of the problem is to get all the old relevant IS Trial Mechs and add them into the game for the relevant weeks.
Lastly Holy **** Mech Bays need to go on sale for the whole month as everyone who is gonna try hard to get enough Mechs to do all the Events will run out for sure

Agreed. Why the Mech Bays weren't set at 50% Off for the next 16 Days is beyond me. With this size of 50% Off Mech Sale going on, additional Mech Bays are a total hand-in-hand necessity, and having a 50% Off Sale for Mech Bays would be the best idea of them all.

Tip: Those packs are NOT a good idea. Most of those Mechs are not worth it for normal play. There are a few good ones but I would just buy them with C-Bills. As for each weight there definitely isn't 10 good picks, maybe 4-5 per a weight at most

Are you sure the packs only apply to mechs currently on sale? The wording makes it sound like it's ANY 10 lights in the game. there are definitely at least 10 light mechs worth owning.
* edit - nevermind, it sounds like the packs are terrible.

I was super excited until i realized the packs were limited. This is literally a dumpster fire of a sale. Makes a lot more sense to restrict it to the worst of the worst selection.

Anyone that would reasonably actually play comp will just buy it will C-Bills. Comp is a long SLOW process. Anyone who buys a pick 10 pack for comp has the wrong mindset for comp and will probably only play a couple matches. Also true Comp players will understand you only need like 2-3 Mechs a person with these rules, not 10 in one weight class lmao
