Rather than voting for more GH what about telling him the options are bad and will just further the skill cap while at same time killing weapon combo diversity.
On the note about their suggestion to nerf down high alpha's they still focusing on cguass, and it's getting annoying that they still trying find ways the thing been nerf'd at least three times how many nerfs does the weapon need to be balance in their eyes.
They are so consistent with this ridiculousness that when they have announced their intention to nerf things in the past, I have been sufficiently amused to mock them by giving away mech packs to folks who guess the most ridiculous nerfs that PGI ends up actually imposing upon us in the name of their mythical “balance”. But the thing is though, this crap is no longer amusing.
This latest announced effort is so far beyond ridiculous that a contest to guess exactly what they will do would be just cruel. They are seriously concerned over TWO mechs potential 94 point alpha that they are considering nerfs to clan gauss, HLL, ERMLL and god knows what else. Because of two mechs. They are honestly considering nerfing ALL mechs use of gauss, all mechs use of various energy weapons because of the potential of two mechs. This is way way beyond amusing or even ridiculous. We have entered the realm of woefully misguided to the point of self-harm levels of delusion here.
So while, I’d love to run a contest to guess how silly they might get here, alas, the very premise of what they claim is driving the nerfs is already so far beyond the level of stupid that I would have thought possible that a contest to guess where this ends up just seems a bit mean spirited. Besides, who is going to want to win a mech pack after PGI nerfs them all into the ground in the name of “balance”, so a contest seems kind of pointless too.
