WTF will they not save? so annoying to have to change the weapon groups at start of a battle each and every time.

Yeah... why go to the forum, instead of PGI support? And no matter which you do, why not attach a video or something so people can see what you may or may not be doing?

Go to mech menu and change it there, in "Weapon group"? Also don't forget to click save button.

Sounds like the folder/file might be set to read only IMO.
