Now, it is true that when a forum pundit, especially the "I am the greatest pilot" types grace us with a QP visit, there is a concerted, dedicated and superlative effort, nay, a holiday level event where the entire team goes to extreme lengths to massacre that pilot first....in terms even a buried potato could understand.... Oh yes, a celebrated event !

Perhaps the only thing I have seen people try harder to kill is the now elusive Gold mechs.

Not sure what game i've been playing but every one on the other team seems to have kill orders on everyone in my team.

Such a toxic game.

The closest I have ever seen to this is when someone from my unit is on the other side, we ask the team to cooperate in making him or her a priority target. Then laugh at each other on teamspeak after the game. But it is only one in a hundred games that happens.

FYI there are little mechs that run around in packs looking for late arrivals on the battlefield.

Then dont join the match late.

Joining late, even 45 secs, in slow *** heavies or assaults is suicide.

you may think there is a hit on you, but maybe you are singling yourself out somehow. for example not staying with the team or giving away your position.

one simple thing assaults can do when trying to catch up to their nascar team is to stay low and reduce your chances to be detected visually. ive walked dires by entire wolfpacks like some kind of obease ninja, formed up with the team and handed their buttocks to them. had i camped or lermed or stood high on the terrain id be very dead very fast. survival should be your first priority.
