PGI should do a 500 damage or 1000 match score (cumulative of course) and give out a new pinup girl decal.


I need more pretty ladies on my mechs. Some that aren't Valentines or Christmas themed.

Only if you own them and want to play PGI's sales gimmick? Naw, not woth the effort playing "throw away" mechs for 50 MC.... My time is more valuable than that in other games....

No father's day event it seems......just the IS extravaganza that most of the clan pilot I know aren't playing..... event or no event. We really need a "good event".

I like the concept of taking the top 50 players and asking them if they'd like to randomly drop in QP with a special ID and Icon. Kill them and get 200 MC..... Kind of like the Corgi event in WoWs......see the Corgi, kill it and redeem for prizes. Of course, many of the "Corgi's" had experimental ships the developers were designing so..............it made killing them "interesting" cause you really didn't know the ship's capabilities.....

The game's playerbase is like 99% male. From three or so years of playing, I know around nine other girls and only maybe four of them still play. Two of them were for their husbando/boyfriend and one was mostly because her girlfriend played but ended up loving the game because she's a mechanic and the idea of giant stompy robots was awesome. While I appreciated the mother's day event as someone who ends up looking after an 8 year old literally all the time, we really should have a father's day event too. Like, just hand out the beer cockpit item and dashboard dolls, I mean what else do we have all of those pinup girl decals for? PGI should celebrate the dudes that keep the game going.

I don't have a lot of the mechs in the event, I just bought them for 50% off, ran them stock or with very small tweaks. 2-3 matches later I've earned 500K and 50MC, then I bring the mech back to stock and sell it for exactly what I paid for it. All you need is one spare mechbay.

Granted, some of the stock mechs are terrible, so I skipped them but a few were decent enough so I'll end up earning several million c-bills and a few hundred MC. I own a good number of the mechs and can get 500 dmg in 1-2 matches with a fully skilled ride. Except for a couple of Hunchbacks, I did not purchase any of my 'rental racers'.

I understand you mostly run Clan so there would be some adjustment, but all in all, it is a relatively easy event, but perhaps still not worth your time, fair enough.

If you have the inclination to buy, use and sell, this is a good event I guess...

I just don't see the point. I'm in the middle of an event in another game so I've got to be off !!! There's real "value" there !
