Hello PGI,
overall I like the new look of the Blood Asp with the longer shoulder mounts and double hard points in them where applicable, but why did you have to flip around the arm energy mount points so that with two weapons in them they are on top of each other and off center? The original way of having the first two energy weapons appear next to each other and the third one below looked way better.
So good job on the shoulders and if equiping two energy weapons in the arms makes them show up next to each other like they used to before the latest changes then it would be perfect I think.
Best regards,
Schlauke

Pretty sure PGI cant please every in regards to those energy mounts cause others complained about the looks of the old ones. So just suck it up and let them focus on other things.

Which is why they should never have changed it in the first place.

Its much better. Could have shrunk the whole box again until it matches arm length, but whatever.
Be careful of the ridiculous mechlab FOV, it makes them look ginormous if you look directly at them.

Lemme tell you how and why I think it happened..
I was probably the first on these forums to complain about the ugly asymmetry of the energy arm mounts when only a single weapon was installed.
So they decided to accommodate me (shockingly), and "fix it".. (Thanks PGI, that's nice)
They probably have the hardpoints coded by priority in order from left to right - left is 1, right one is 2, lower central one is 3..
So the way they probably fixed the issue was to assign priority 1 to the third, lower central slot. This was probably simplest to code, or edit in a spreadsheet.
They did not want to waste time remodeling everything to make it look different, proper and beautiful. (Like single weapon mounted appearing in the center of the arm box, two weapons mounted appearing in the center, on top of eachother, and such) They went for the quickest fix.
So now, instead of left / right / center priority, we have center / left / right priority.
And PRESTO - single mounted weapon goes to center and is nice and symmetric on both arms. But two weapons mounted looks worse than before.

Yes I think that is what happened, they switched around the order in which the mounts get filled up when equiping weapons so the first one will go to the bottom.
So on one arm, the BAS-C right one, it looks better now and on the six others that have two energy mounts its worse than the single one looked before, I still think its a bad trade.
Also the higher mount points are better for shooting over things and down slopes, now with two energy weapons its easier to hit the ground with the lower one.
I would very much prefer to have two energy weapons back next to each other like they used to be.

Still would have been nice if they had did a bit more than a stretch command.
They could have matched the original art or at least thrown some front armor quirks at it.
Just make sure you have lots of puglet armor in front of you.
But to your point, PGI still has a long list of things to work on. Getting skill tree saves a year late is still better than not at all.

I guess they couldn't fix this problem so they changed it to start at the bottom of the triangle instead?
IIRC though, the stock OmniPod BAS-C I was running (LB5X LA, ERPPC RA), had those single weapons both central, but one top, one bottom. I could just be misremembering, but I recall shaking my head at it.
