Hey OP, when you are experimenting in business, most times the "boulder gets you".... Trust me, I teach innovation and 94% of new project fail...... that rate falls to 60% when strategy canvas efforts were done with due diligence and honesty....

Archeology is a good field of study if you seriously try to map out the "value" of FP/CW in a canvas.... What you see in the canvas needs a good set of "eyes" that always question what they see......and then, attempt to justify the rationale....

We are an extreme small niche market so, if you in this effort strike some very lucrative and obvious opportunities, then you need to take a team to PGI and pitch it...... (there are several "elevator pitch videos out there that are excellent to use and there are several "elevator pitch competitions" in the US every year and they produce great teaching videos.....)

I want to see this effort work and will gladly review any data you post. I may be a potato and drive some pilots crazy on these forums but, I like the MW universe and I'd love to see FP change or expand to become a "retention and teaching" standard in the game.... To do that, PGI needs to "have a reason to invest" and your efforts may just get us there.

Good hunting !

Thank you Sir! Attacking the problem from different sides! :)

But please be aware that i am a non-native english-speaker (obviously^^) and this technical and scientific english is everything but easy for me.

But, i will do, the question is how fast i can get into it. More numbers for my poll would be good.

Side question:
What do you think should be a valuable number of participants in that poll so that we can say it is useful for a representative statistic?

The arguments over poll size have been around since there have been polls !! What is a "valid poll".....? The honest answer is that polls are simply indicators of a general path of thought or actions... Take the US elections where every poll told us that a candidate would absolutely was going to win........and, in the end, those professional pollsters were completely wrong....not even a little wrong but absolutely wrong.

Because the polls asked the wrong questions. Culture trumps change every day.... What is the MWO culture?

To sell change, to create a new value, you must find the "value" people, the culture wants the most.... That is what the Strategy Canvas does for you initially. It aims you towards where the playing population find those values..... What is it that MW provides that "captures" the niche? Stompy robots, yeah OK, but what beyond stompy robots? Take S7, FP and MW5 as an example. They are all completely different deliverables in the same genre. Which one produces the most "value"? Ask the 5 why's to test your assumptions.

And, you must look beyond MWO and the existing market. Where are the markets moving towards? Where are MWO's threats and why? These questions can focus MWO's changes towards or away from the "values" we need to continue and grow. i.e. the recent video game exposition where each corporation announces their new games..... Those corporations all are after specific niches in the gaming community and where they overlap, those game corporations have built in "specific areas" of game play nuance that are designed to attract new players dis satisfied in the existing markets....and, that information is secured from the game forums; not polls.... Take any gaming corporation out there and those corporations have "game-ing experts" that play like and similar games !!! Just to better understand where the existing customers want to go and why they are frustrated as to where they are ! What will they "spend" to make their experiences better.... ? Poll what frustrates, Poll what we would spend real money on. Don't poll what we want or where we want to be because that isn't a value. Poll tangible values. Then, create a SWOT and a Strategy canvas and explore where we don't want to go and compare that to the market ! Where are the areas that confirm or reject your data in the market place and make a decision: where is there room in the market to create change...

Look at other games: one of my favorites is the entire Fallout series. Fallout 76 is going into some dangerous territory and begs to ask the question of why? Considering that many other similar games have not been successful outside of the single player story line..... What does that design team know that allowed them to take that leap of faith??? Doctoral candidates ask gaming corporations all of the time "why" and a great many times, receive answers...!!!

What is valid is what the corporation will support. Ask them. Ask PGI formally, outside of this forum. I did in another corporation and they welcomed what I had in-mind because empirical free data is a boon to their understanding of the market place and their niche clients... Sun Tzu said: "If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles..." and, that was in 535 BC and is true today. A strategy canvas is the enemy's and includes asking PGI directly; and, several, serious internal polls will start you towards the later...

Good hunting !
