Do you think Flea's have a place in Faction Play?

I have one in every drop deck but I'd only recommend it if you know how to deal with streaks. Otherwise, make room in your deck for the assassin or wolfhound with full survival.

99% of the player base won't be able to pilot them properly.
And no, that isn't an exaggerating. So don't bother unless you are an exceptional light pilot.
So overall, no, no they don't.

I'd argue that even exceptional light pilots may not be able to make the Flea work. Only exceptional Locust pilots should apply and honestly, you should probably also be exceptional at making the most of MASC.

If you are terrible in a locust, you'll do even worse in a flea with it's large CT hitbox.
Being as 99% of the population can't use a locust that same percentage should avoid the flea.

A Flea certainly has a place, but only if the team around it adapts and uses strategies and tactics that require or work well with a such a fragile but highly mobile mech. Besides that, the one piloting the Flea should know what he's doing. Actually that goes for all mechs but the Flea just like the Locust is unforgiving and mistakes are often catastrophic.
From my experience a speedy light mech suits an otherwise rather heavy team pretty well, in general the rest of your team will be focussed and that creates a vacuum to be exploited by a small and nimble mech. But when the tonnage of the entire team drops that vacuum disappears. Unless the entire team goes small and nimble, but that requires 4 or 12 good light pilots and chances are small you will find enough of them on the same unit or team.
So yes, but only with specific conditions.
