Well it wasn't really a solo queue...it was a unit queue and a no unit queue which is significantly different.

The intent was what though? why was the queue seperation implimented?

I assure you it wasn't players belonging to units wishing to be rid of solo unaffiliated players.

I am pretty sure it was solo unaffiliated "casuals" who wanted to be rid of groups composed of unit members because it's pretty much a non issue to see 12 unaffiliated players forming a premade groups and having to fight them.

Therefore in practice the purpose of the queue seperation was to remove groups of well organized players from competeing against (or even with) solo casuals.

I couldn't imagine any unit with half a mind towards it's continued existence that would want to be isolated from it's primary recruitment pool...unaffiliated solo players!

This is yet again a choice made to support casuals at the expense of loyalist. By doing this queue seperation with both casual quick play and faction warfare PGI effectively removed the best means of keeping player units alive. A near total isolation of units from recruits.

And do we still wonder why community warfare tanked?
