This is the list of mechs I'd like to own and as someone who is not blessed with money in either situation, I was wondering if anyone who has these available and is capable of equipping them LIKE IN THE BUILDS was willing to test them out and maybe post feedback on how they run? :)

Those are upload/import hashes for the mechlab. Not images.

A lot of bad builds in there.

Ravens should be dedicated NARCers or ER snipers.
Osiris is bad. 1V is the only I skipped, most likely due to bad hardpoints. Single PPC is a threat to no one
Cougar = Too slow to be streak platform. A bad Clan light in general. The Adder is a better mech
Artic Cheetah = no objections. Your armor distribution needs tweaking
Hunchback-4G= obsolete chassis do not buy
Bushwacker-P2= worst Bushwacker. Get any other variant. P2 is much better than P1

The Bushie P2 has a use if you specifically want to have quad backup lasers without paying for the High Roller.

Disagree, it's a lot of fun. Hunchbacks are great

The Raven believe it or not used to be considered Over Powered (back when it was 8v8, before the extreme alphas, and streak missles would only damage CT). The Jenner-F was considered Over Powered as well, with at the time, a "massive" 30 point alpha potential. Hit registration was much worse, so lights were hard to hit. They nerfed lights in so many other ways, to make up for bad hit reg. They improved hit reg, but they left the legacy light nerfs in place. The most extreme light nerf after the Jenner (Hero Oxide notwithstanding) was probably the Firestarter, since it had a month or two of outperformance, it was punished severely, almost never fielded anymore, it simply falls apart immediately.

Instead of light mechs, I would recommend fast medium mechs such as the Assassin (fast striker), and Cicada (mid-long range).

As far as actual lights, the wolfhound has fared better than most in surviving the nerfs.

Smurfy is still around, please use it when trying to get online feedback.

Or, the new hotness, MechDB.

Erm, have you played a Giantslayer Raven before? They are surprisingly powerful.

Id like it if you used Smurfy. Im not at home all the time, so I cant look under the hood and give you any pointers.
Im not elitest or anything but going have to agree with Mr Spheroid. There are certain builds that do really well on certain mechs. So don't be scared to ask.
I highly recommend the Hunchback 4G, its still a blast. Don't listen to the fun killers of this game. Can still pull 800 damage in my old girl. Clan tech be damaned.

The best IS lights you can get, are in my opinion, the Locust 1e and the commando 1d.

Both are fast, Locust is a little more maneuverable and doesn't rely on ammo.

The commando 1d with two srm4 is one of the best lights in the game. You'll learn good jukes and how to lead targets, it's also a little more forgiving than the locus when you're going up against a PIR.
