Even if you had ten hands, you still wouldn't be able to name all of the worthless forgotten Mechs PGI has released. The Nightstar is unfortunately one of PGI's more recent victims of neglect. Best thing you can do is sell it (or keep it in the corner for nostalgia's sake) and move on.

Surprisingly you can get off about 2 shots from each arm without overheating in fairly rapid succession..... That said I get side cored a lot. There are many MANY times where I half of my mech is completely useless because the arm is stuck behind something and I swear to god I'm not the best shot in the world but there are times I swear the PPC shots are veering off to one side or the other.

I endarver not to give up on the mech..... but I'm also saving up for the next time the Kaiju is on sale so I can make virtually the same build but better so there's that. :/

1. You can find better PPC orientated mechs.
2. You can fit endosteel on that and increase the engine by 4.5 tons or put on an LFE and do the same thing.

I actually did get reasonable feast or famine performance with a UAC20 and 2 UAC10s so I'll give you that.
