- tell me another "OP" class(not even model or chassis) with such hard counter as light mechs have
- tell me another "OP" class(not even model or chassis) wich can be instagibbed to front armour with high velocity pinpoint, high splash alpha(lbx/srm) or even low duration lazor alpha at such a distance, when he can not even shoot back
- tell me another "OP" class(not even model or chassis) wich can be instagibbed by boating various no-skill homing weapons
- tell me another "OP" class(not even model or chassis) wich is least used in any of game modes
- tell me another "OP" archetype wich can be controled by foot and get top damage

thats kind of what i meant. assaults are noob magnets. noobs who think that more tonnage means easy mode, and find that delusion promptly shattered the first time they encounter a moderately skilled locust pilot.

The above would have been way more fun if the sarcasm was directed to specific chassis or even variants. But by making it about “lights” (vs say Piranhas) you lost a nice opportunity for some good pseudo antagonistic tolling. Just a damn shame.

Also when you target spot a non-legged 160kph light mech that little icon on the mini map that stays there long after the light leaves sight is really distracting and causes mass confusion and hysteria.
