do we actually have no Events running? Well, that is something different!

Anyone know what might be up next? Maybe there should be a guessing contest...

I know, well we can do the public test server, for the 2mil cbils and the warhorn. No XP right on that server?

I haven't looked into that, as I am not likely to have the time or disposition to participate, anyway. Seems reasonable to assume that, though.

It's just "complete 10 matches with 50 match score" .
My grandmother's dog can do that - and it's dead.
Rewards are 2 mil C-Bills and a warhorn, delivered on 17th.

? It's worth it just to try whatever mech you've ever wanted to with basically unlimited funds (2 billion cbills, 2 mill MC) + it will help contribute more data. But I do it just to seriously try builds I wouldn't normally.

There is an easy and much faster way to get into the PTS without having to DL the whole thing.

1. DL the MWO client (if playing MWO via the client just skip to 3.)

2. If playing via Steam -

go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MechWarrior Online and copy all of the contents of the Mechwarrior Online folder and paste it into C:\Program Files (x86)\Piranha Games\MWO Public Test

3. If playing MWO via the Client - just copy-paste the contents from your Mechwarrior Online folder over to the MWO public test folder

4. Open the MWO client and select MWO Public Test up on the upper left hand below Mechwarrior Online button. Now after selecting the Public Test button go up to the options which is on the upper most top left andselect Run MWO Repair Tool (it's about halfway down the menu)

5. Let the repair tool run (should take a couple of minutes) and the select Fix Issues button at the bottom right after it is complete.

After that you are good to go and basically have an unlocked account that allows you to test and buy every single mech and customize however you want.

Disclaimer - pretty sure this PTS round ends 7/16 but should still give it a shot

Hey, Jackal Noble, thanks for providing all that data... it actually encouraged me to try a Public Test Session for the first time. I did poorly and killed no one but myself, but I also got to experiment with loadouts of several mechs I hadn't run in months and verify for myself that the proposed Clan Gauss recoil isn't anything to be concerned with. Some of the proposed Clan laser adjustments, on the other hand... that is a different matter.

I tried that for my Steam version of MWO, but repair tool kept giving me error half way through the fixing, which made me reinstall PTS from scratch. Posted Image
