Well, PGI just ALMOST had a Perfect Patch. Then they went and Increased Clan LRM Spread. Clans do NOT need nerfs against their Damage Potential. Seriously, with this patch and if they put the PTS changes into the game, they might as well just make skip the whole game and just give IS the win as soon as the game starts.

Clan lasers, especially are not OP, they are all extremely hot with insanely long duration in the game as it is. Hardly anyone dies to a Clan Laser Alpha, they die from a well coordinated team focusing fire at them.

I have a Challenge for PGI: Load a Hunchback 4P up with medium lasers and optimize the skill tree for it and then load up a Hunchback II with all Clan ERMLs and also optimize the skill tree and then put them side to side and have them both alpha until they shut down, then tell us which alpha strike is "OP". If PGI won't do this, we NEED NGNG, or a non-partial streamer to do this.

I've got the feeling PGI has gone over to a completely reactionary way of balancing without a clear vision and focus. The sudden and way too regular changes obviously leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth. I'm not sure if PGI is doing anything but adjusting numbers on a spreadsheet without really looking at the big picture and the effects on gameplay.

If this goes on the game's balance will be in such a dire situation that only a full wipe can make things passable again.

It's too many changes in a too rapid succession.

Sizes of hitboxes are smaller on new mechs.
When they pass to c-bills, hitbox get larger.
It's ok, but...

Maybe you will have Merc's Warrior Online, with better unreal engine.
This MWO is Cow without milk, only squeeze blood.
I played a lot, but it is like in Groundhog Day movie. Same, you gain skill, but nothing special.

But Merc's Warrior Online maybe do something new.

Untill then LRM my uninstalled game.
Summer and Rock Climbing.

Co-Op with weekly new challenges, against AI.
Elite challenges, most headshots per day. Most kills in one QP or FP game. First 10 have prizes, not all like now. Must burn the competition of solo q.

We need a solid month of LRM buffs so that all the people that complain about LRM nerfs can see that its not about making them weaker, its about deterring lazy SoBs from sitting back and not trying to be part of the team*

*I know there are some players that can play as a team with LRM boats but they are about as common as single girls looking to be in a MFF couple...

Once you see that making LRMs attractive would make the game so dumbed down that no one would want to play or be motivated to play, perhaps they would stop whining...


BTW, this is NOT a straight up nerf to LRMs, you are getting a heat reduction.

BTW now that I am done with the PTS I am running nonstop LRMs on the live server, in honor of the latest round of LRM tweaks...

Thankyou for letting us know, wouldnt have checked otherwise, do I really have to manually check what has moved divisions, at a quick 1st glance I noticed Yen - lo - wang has gone from div 7 to div 6, do we all have to manually individually check the list ourselfs, pgi aren't going to tell us what has moved ?

We act like a bunch of hyper crazy kids on sugar that is told no for the 12th bar of chocolate, seriously, this is exasperating.

Meh, keep crying about LRM buffs. At this point next month it'll be the only useful weapon Clans will have so remember that before you get too loud about the buffs.
