Great Job, cripple the customization of mechs even more, why not directly give us a meta we have to use between each patch?

Back in the days, we had so many ways to fit our mechs, there was a much better diversity with less available weapons...

PGI is unable to balance anything, their only answer for everything is ghostheat… GHOSTHEAT.... MORE GHOSTHEAT.... GAUSS THAT CREATE GHOSTHEAT.... and the best EVEN MORE GHOSTHEAT... LoL

Dunno what kinda stuff Russ is using in his coffee, but he should definetly stop...

They brought a totally useless Solaris 7, FP is nearly dead and we still run around on the same few boring maps.

Let's hope someone else will get the license after 2021, but only time will tell...

I'm far from elite, but I'm in.

If it isn't AMS or LRMs - it ain't going on my mech now.

Well, of you Import a loadout, and the setup is using weapons, equipment or ammo, you don‘t already own, it would cost you something to equip a mech that way.

Two direct fire mechs would likely kill you faster.

In my experience LRMs aren't currently a problem, but then again I do mostly play Group queue.


LRMs are only a problem because many players refuse to equip AMS or ECM in QP.

Why make Lurms better now, they were "ok" as they are.
When people complain they are mainly PUKs.
Who comes up with that ?
Do you also think of the faction players / games?
ATM are still completely useless, because the AMS all on time.

PGI make a thread "what the next 8 patches is planned and the goal is".

There are so many good ideas here in the forum, for example. "Heat Penalty System" not only damage, but also individual system failures (targiting -, look system or speed reduction etc.) any where must the energy come from.

Clan LRMs are nerfed with this patch:

6% less heat (clrm15),
6% more spread (clrm15),
same heat, but more time and more ammo needed for the same result.

Sorry guys I cannot understand you. In FP lurmers get 3000+ dmg. Why you have to buff them?

LOL welcome to playing clan side where pgi will do that to up their chances to win an event until they finally hear enough whining and complaining about it they buff it back just a tad. (also they did this to clan UACs when the KD3 dropped instead of just negative quirks on it, they upped the jam chance on all clan UACs.)

I was wondering when clan missiles were going to get hit. didn't expect it to be THIS soon rip streaks. I don't know why I still play this game I should just play fricking WoW and GTA.

PGI if by some small chance you do read these, why don't you just allow everyone to run mix tech?! or just make all values the same? hmm? then the only difference for your game will be whose side you picked!( and flag colors) honestly you're driving away players, doesn't help you ignored a good number of the BIG name players by throwing away their data they gathered to help you with their input on balance. but what do we the players know? pffft.

Maybe I need to dig through my screenshots. Pretty sure I have a 700-900 damage games on Solaris City lurking in my folder over the last 2-3 weeks - topping the board of my team.

Hell I have less luck in a brawler on that map lately.

Just to put it out here before Chris tries anything.

The community balance sheet only asked for 10% heat buff to IS LRMs to make them comparable to clans in terms of performance and sustainability.


Th e major change that made LRMs cancerous was the massive velocity buffs. And that was totally Chris and Chris only!

Ok, I've got my LRM80 Orion, Night Gyr, Scorch and Mad Cat II all warmed up and ready to go. :)

Oh and a lrm60 Hunchie and lrm 75 MDD just in case. ;)

You would think that PGI would have gotten LRMS right by now. LRMS go from OP to Useless to OP to Useless every other year it seems like.

JUST for you I played my 2nd whackamole ( lrm ) game that I can remember in over a year, just to make sure it wasn't a anomaly just for you.

I know thats canyon not Solaris but its not one of your 2 lrm maps either. And I am not playing PvE lurmz till I get Solaris.

Ok, I'll drop a lrm boat on Solaris City just to prove you're wrong. I had a couple matches in Solaris City yesterday where I made 500+ dmg with a lrm boat but didn't find those interesting enough - still my lrm boat did better than 2/3 of my team. Stay tuned ;)
