This community, man.

Explained myself in detail, both regarding MWO's failing at being anything but an FPS game and the design issues with the LRMs and in comes the guy with the attention span of a gold fish and goes "go play COD hurr durr".

You know, at this point, I'd probably be better off doing that than watch PGI turn MWO into more of a shitfest every other patch at the behest of the lowest common denominator. There's a reason why many (most?) good players left.
A significant chunk of the forum's population is dreadfully bad at the game. Doesn't mean that's the case for everyone. It's an easy cop-out, just like the "hurr durr go play COD" thing

But you be sure and keep telling everyone else how they "should play MWO your way", as that is sure to help grow the "community"

The problem is that if this goes on there is only one way to play this game: static long-range snipefest.

You can argue about which gamestyle one prefers or not all day long. However, do you really think a game with such a narrow "effective" way of being played is fun or diverse? Do you think it will keep his players entertained? Really?

Color me confused.

You've been declaring lurms a good weapon since forever. But you're cool with lurm buffs. If lurms were good weapons like you say they were, shouldn't you be AGAINST lurm buffs? Since they would make good weapons even better? Or if they were good weapons, shouldn't they be nerfed exactly so they're harder to use?

What's your agenda here cos you don't make sense at all

LRMs have always been good weapons for me. Weather they get small nerfs or buffs, they will remain good for me, as long as they are not uber-nerfed into oblivion..

I am happy with buffs, naturally.. making something that's good even better is great. The buffs were small, and did not make LRMs op.

If they were made OP, I would speak up, trust me.. Just like I speak up against the Piranha being OP, and I own one, or the KDK-3, and also own one, or other stuff..

"My agenda" when it comes to LRMs is to make sure PGI doesn't accept some of the more ridiculous ideas on how LRMs should be and remove all the fun out of them, by giving as objective as possible views on using LRMs as an experienced user, and also for people to stop bullying LRM users. That's all "my agenda" is.

I try to let people see that not all Lurmers are skill-less noobs, that the system can in fact, in spite of it's many drawbacks and counters, be fun and useful to play, and that it's not ok to judge and bully people for playing the way they enjoy playing just for the sake of someone's pride or personal glory.

I would do the same even if I didn't play LRMs at all.. cose' it's the right thing to do.
