Assaults still get bodied by a light and medium focusing your CT, can't look uphill to save your life.
Fps still garbage even if you have a mid-high range setup.
Solaris 7 is okay I guess, could be much better if more people played it.
Alphas are still too damn high.
Pinpoint accuracy with high alpha= torso twisting does **** against certain mechs.
Sooo in short?
Good to be back I guess?

It is what it is. If you liked MWO before you will still like it. If you didn't like it before you wouldn't like it now.

What is worse is finally getting hbs battle tech then trying to go back to mwo. Mwo is so dull by comparison and I'm only just out of the tutorial mission and maybe 2-3 actual missions in single play campaign. My only battle tech complaint thus far is not being able to choose a better mech than the one I got.

Maybe that's more a sign that singleplayer turn-based tactical games suit you more than slow-paced multiplayer FPS. Gameplay-wise both games can hardly be compared, they are too different.

That is the view of the shooter player.
Looked upon from the way of the Battletech (the Universe) fan MWO is simply mostly everything done wrong or badly, beginning with the scaling, the weapon mechanics, the movement and physics, the mechlab....and most aggravating thing MWO does completely wron is the complete lack of immersion story and background telling.
Battletech tactical combat does all those things right and even creates an own plausible in universe explanaition how a traveling, larger Mechwarrior company could be selfsubstaining over a longer time.

Actually I rather hate most fps games online. TF2,cod,battlefield etc. Too dam twitchy and you're dead before you even know what or where you've been shot at. Re spawn just doesn't do any thing for me. So I died meh it's the fact you can't hardly fire back much.
Mwo is much slower by comparison. You get plenty of time to react, reposition, shoot back and use other players as an actual team. I did lots of doom2,golden Eye 64 in my lan parties in college. Normally got 2nd place in our mvc2 tournament.
Battle tech has been fun and it's one of those rare turn based games that has my interest. Most the time I'm playing open world games like skyrim, mgsvttp, rts like company of heroes or emulating older systems playing past games like tmnt 4 snes. I just prefer my multiplayer games not be twitch fests and balanced. I still log a lot into swtor but never could get into wow.
