So when the result screen after a Solaris 7 match ended, when I click exit, the whole game would just lock. It doesn't happen all the game, but a good 30-40% of the time.

No error message. Nothing. There are no error report generation. The screen just locks.

I can't hard exit out either, cause the game screen would just freeze over my computer. The only way is to ctrl-alt-del to bring up the screen before the task manager, and reboot the computer (cause if I tried to bring up the task manager, again, the game screen still freeze in place and I won't be able to bring it up)

It's like the game just hijack my computer where I can't even alt-f4 to do a hard app close. Like literally, I can only do a full comp restart to get out of it.

I find this happen more often when Duncan Fisher is still rambling and I just click exit before he finishes. (and sometime pre-loading, I get the same issue on starting matches, where the game would just freeze and lock)

If Duncan Fisher is the problem, can we get an option to just disable the in-game audio? If not, then... why does it do this? It's fine if it's just a game crash. It's less ok when it freezes and locks my entire computer.

Update: So I've been running tests where I just don't touch anything after the match end. And seems to be more stable if I don't click anything until all the audio are done and etc.

I can't offer you a solution, but this may at least help. First of all, I like to bring up the task manager with ctrl+shift+esc, it skips the security screen or w/e they call it and brings up the task manager directly. Second, if you click on the options menu of the task manager, there is an "always on top" option which may allow you to access the task manager when the game freezes, since it attempts to... well do exactly what it says, force the task manager to the foreground. It's not much, but if it leads to less restarts, I guess that's something. Beyond that are the obvious suggestions, repair tool, reinstall, reinstall drivers, etc.

In case you are running MWO in fullscreen try using windowed fullscreen instead. It's much more stable and less susceptible to kill your whole system if MWO freezes.
