For anyone that's got an AS7-S and has parked it in the hidden depths of the mechbay like I had, bring it out and try this build on it. It's actually a whole lot of fun

Possibly, but I disagree with the worse part. I had 0 fun in it before I recently started messing around with lb20's

I mean, the per-shot alpha is slightly colder and it runs a couple KPH faster, but otherwise there's nothing about this build suggesting it plays any different to AC/20 + 4x SRM6A.

I'm not suggesting it's revolutionary, it's a lot of fun splatting mechs though Posted Image

Edit: LB20 and Srm6 is just a better combo than ac20 and srm6 imo

I dont own an Atlas yet? but id down size to a stand 350 and up the armor a bit more on the arms. They make really good shields.
And with the roughneck neck... Id need alot more ammo then that.

No, just no. SRM velocity = 400 m/s, AC20 velocity =650 m/s. LBX20 velocity = 1330 m/s. As you can see LBX20 is far worse than AC20 in terms of speed syncing with SRMs.

If you get bored of that.

Replace the LBX-20 with a LBX-10. Add lasers.

Switch to a light engine. Add laser AMS.

It enables functionality on maps like polar highlands where you can stand around doing absolutely nothing & still be useful via AMS supporting your team.

Replacing SRMs with MRMs is also co0.
