Anyway, Im not a missile focused player, but over a course of randomly trying absentee mechs from my usual preference, I finally gave the Sunspider a go and a 4xATM9/TAG/LAMS build with relevant missile quirks and mobility has proven to offer obscene amounts of space monies. Im currently under forced premium time, so that + the event's hero bonuses is offering returns of 500-700k cbills in solo PUGs for most matches. Even when hammered, a moderately aggressive playstyle, tagging everything while chain firing the ATMs returns lots of kills/damage and a plethora of bonuses. And you dont have to be a dirty LRM player.
Ive got all the space money I could ever need, but a lot of players are out for a cbill grind and since the VG was gifted, a lot of people should have access to it.

It works with LRMs better, but it's pretty inefficient option still, you can't really boat LRMs, and missing arm actuators add up to its inefficiency.
Personally running it with dual LBX/10, C-ERLL and x2 SRM4. First half of the match you hang back a little, poke, don't get into brawl, because you will get completely destroyed, and in second half of the match, when most enemies are softened up a little, you can get really aggressive. This thing hits like truck, seriously.
I really wanted it to work with dual Gauss, but STs are so paperthin, first alpha you eat pretty much guarantee one weapon exploding... This mech definitely looks cool, I like it, but it feel weak somehow. I've got TBR-A with x4 Med Lasers and x2 UAC5s, I can really brawl, take hits with it, wreck some faces, while SNS seems too delicate for this job, weird...

Nice. 500k to 700k is definitely a lot of cbills.

I hate that this is all hyperbole because Im not a screen shotter, but perhaps its the player. Its racking up consistently high scores and cbills with far less effort or focus than other mech/loadout choices.

Not to ramble but the other advantage Im enjoying with it is the ability to dumb fire with a reasonable amount of damage behind it as opposed to the much closer proximity required by SRMs to get the same effect. There are a lot of big mechs on the field these days with ECM, and for some reason a lot of those pilots feel like they are safe to move less and shoot more. It feels really good to peg them with a face full of missiles even when TAG doesnt have enough time to cut through their ECM.
