I am missing some of the classic designs of Inner Sphere Mechs; like the Wasp, Hornet, Crusader and so on. With the lawsuit now settled it shuld be possible to incorporate those Mechs in the game. I am missing really some nice designs, wich really rocked. The list is pretty long and I don't expect to see many of them in the game, but some like Wasp, Hornet and Crusader would be really some classic darlings, which should be included in this game.

Although I am with you on having more of the classic TRO 3025 lineup in MWO and considering (but not knowing!) that the lawsuit is settled to the point that MWO could integrate whatever design they please (still, not knowing, just hoping), we have to face the fact that the current timeframe has a frigg-ton of Mechs with modern tech and based on modern tech. 3025 Mechs inherit the problem that older designs have many variants, but pretty much all based on 3025 tech. You'd have to create 306x tech variants and buff the sh1tnit out of those geezers to make them halfway balanced against newer chassis. Don't get me wrong. I have my own desperately longing going on with the HCT-3F Hatchetman (see my proposal). But its fearing the worst whilst hoping for the best.

I know what you mean. But there are a huge amount of variants of the classic mechs already with the 3050+ tech available. Just page trough the readouts, I think it would pose no problem to get the best of them. The Warhammer will have at least three to four variants with 3080+ tech. And it has over 4 variants with 3050+ tech.
But I think you are right that they will integrate newer mechs first and that would be sad. but I think we have to live with that. There are some very interesting mechs among them.

I'm pretty sure they're just going off of Gas Guzzler's pinned list at the top of this section of the forums.

Caps and bold? You must think we are all completely impervious to the flaws that are in MWO. We must seem like a bunch of egotistic nitwits asking for something for ourselves than demanding fiercly bugfixing for the greater good.

PGI will make new Mechs as sure as amen comes in church. If only to make a buck to keep the ship afloat. If new Mechs are coming anyway, so what is the harm in wasting a thought or two on what we would like to have in the game? You have have probably all your favorite Mechs in the game period. But some of us still have dreams. Silly, I know. Bugs are legion in MWO as the game engine only allows to go so far correcting inherit issues and complaining about those bugs is baseline chatter at that point and the complaints in the forum fill volumes.

So, how about hell yes and fix the damn bugs while you‘re at it?

No need to explain the caps and bold. If I wouldn‘t know that, I wouldn‘t have reacted upon it. Makes sense? I reckon you were steaming off to PGI because you think PGI doesn‘t fix bugs, like, at all and (probably even moreso) because they are so terribly unfair to Clan. The looming nerfing of Clan tech hangs over our head like a damocles sword, isn‘t it? Funny enough there are actually topics that deal with that exact issue. Why not post there?

I get it. You feel yourself mistreated and unheard in your token identity as a Clanner and trueborn warrior. We don‘t care about nerfs as long as they do not touch our loyalty or our personal gameplay preference, are we not?. We take any buff thankfully for ourselves but cry foul when others receive buffs for their benefit, do we not? It‘s human nature I guess. And it‘s just a friggin game. This was supposed to be a topic us old-school Battletech aficianados were dipping in memories of 3025 TRO Mechs and how we would love to see some of those „forgotten“ ones in the actual timeline.

And while we‘re at it: No Clanners in 3025. Mic drop!
