After latest hotfix patch from July 19 info overlay no longer pops up when hovering over such things as weapons, equipment and omnipods on the mechlab loadout screen. I have to find the items in the warehouse to get equipment info. Please fix.

In Game settings, do you have "Disable Tool Tips" setting checked off?
