In the last PTS patch, PGI had the audacity to nerf the damage of the cERSmall Laser - a mediocre DPS weapon whose ghost heat group caps it at a mere 30 damage alpha - in a PTS patch that was supposed to be about reducing clan giga-alphas upwards of 90 damage.
The problem with this is that, especially in this second iteration of the PTS where the cERSL did not recieve any modifications, people aren't paying attention to or testing the small laser changes. Knowing PGI, they'll use this lack of feedback to justify not iterating on the cERSL any further, and pushing the nerf onto live servers with the rest of the patch. A nerf to a weapon that mind you, isn't overpowered in any practical sense, and has minimal impact on the current live meta.
It is my personal opinion that PGI should restore cERSL to it's full 5 damage, and leave the weapon alone until the PTS has finished hashing out what to do with clan big alpha. It should be addressed only once the PTS community's attention can be focused on it and similar weapons to it, so that we can properly evaluate how the cERSL fits into the brawling power curve.

For the love of all that is holy and shiny give it back its 5 damage (and also buff the IS version).
Its not like boating CERSL would insta-gib any mech even with 5 damage.

Of course C-ER Small Lasers should be un-nerfed. Small lasers across the board should be un-nerfed.
EVERYTHING should be un-nerfed, at least a little bit.

Not only that, small pulses should be upped to 5 damage too.

I seriously hope PGI reads this poll.
