Does anyone else find it hilarious that No Man's Sky is out selling PUBG?

The devs of No Man's Sky didn't have to put money back in their game. They could have scoffed at all the angry customers and worked on the next scam. Instead they finally added the ability to play with others. With some other content. For free.

Meanwhile PUBG tried to sell people an event pass? Wat?

I read an article that implied they're relying more on the asian market and don't care about declining steam numbers. So in other words. "F U, we already have your money".

On one hand, a developer redeemed themselves in the eyes of their customers. On the other hand, a developer showcased exactly what's wrong with the industry and corporations in general.

I dunno, but wonder if NMS's catastrophic release didn't lead to enough lawsuits coming up to make "developing it" cheaper than going through the courts.

but in the end its good they deivered what the release should had.
