If u dont sit on spawn zone, u will not have are spawn camping. But no, you will cowardly sit there and whine: "Oh no, they kill me on the spawn". Where else should we kill you if you are only there?

UPD.

And one more moment. I have more than 2 accounts in this game, and im often play without premade on my side. And i know, how u and yours quys play against weak teams. You kill they on spawn zone too. So... Just shut up, Gully.

Its just how badly the spawn zones and drops are designed. Theres no mechanic to stop people from killing you a second after you drop from the dropship.


We all know that. We've been salty before.


I guess if your premade is really stomping the pugs, the only thing is to try to hang back a little, let the pugs get some shots in, so that the opponents dont get ***** too badly and decide not to come back to FW.


(I cant wait to play again, getting a new connection hopefully this week)

You all know that, sometimes at the start screen you can see very fast if this match will be pug slaughtery or not.When i see many pugs on the enemy side i try to convince my mates to take it easy and slow down a bit, but...you know...they are all damage vacuum cleaners XD

One possibility in this case is to test funny tactics or take mechs for leveling skill tree. And with funny tactics i mean something like an urbie-rush or SRM-Brawl on Boreal Defense for example.

Pugs will be thankful to have at least some chances to get some damage and fun out of it.

The dropships used to have very fast firing ER Large lasers. But people complained about how accurate and deadly they were.
Indeed Dropships are some of the most dangerous things in the Universe for mech. But, because of their odd flight patterns people complained about their fly by laser shots hitting them.

Just give the Dropships their big guns back and adjust their cooldowns.

Display IS/Clan queue while in FP lobby and also scouting ToW so that drop strategies can be planned without having combat ID/ sat sweep ruining the strat.

IF PLAYERS COULD BE IN THE MECHLAB WHILE SEARCHING,

FACTION WOULD HAVE MORE PLAYERS.

Inactive waiting time is a waste.

i have my guys walk into enemy spawn in ones and twos so they enemy gets kills and gets paid.
it is good practice and we never get dry queues no matter how long we play.
it is more fun than splitting into two teams and fighting each other because nobody else is online.
...but we don't care about kill:death ratios, all we want is to play and have fun and honestly we are happy to see more people in invasion.
ghost dropping is ******!
we are the community, PGI don't even play, the health of the game is up to us.

My main problem with the game mode of FP is currently that some of the maps are really hard unfairly. for example if you are spawn camping if your behind a mountain and the dropship can still hit your head

I think in no undue measue that the game coding needs a compleate overhaul.

There are alot of bug ingame that need to fix, Such as the polar highlands map having a poor terrain map so mechs can float.

Personaly i would really like to see larger maps, more game modes, and game modes like a campaign.

For example, Convoy. 4 convoys load in. after say 10 minuets each. Attacking team must push the defending team and kill the entire convoy, say the convoy is a mix of tanks troops.

More maps would really be good.

Being able to shoot your own generators.

Prehaps more combat options.

More rewards.

Balance weapons lore wise, and reduce the numbers to 10 - 12 Clan - IS

Meah. Just some ideas.

Won't ever happen because people want to play clan mechs with their IS buddies in quick play. So a Tech refit won't happen. Most people who want this; want the supreme version of the Clan weapons and not the balanced versions.

As for the other things. Completely agree.
Put Escort in Faction play.
Make Incursion asymmetrical, and you're good to go.

Thoughtful post other than that one knit-pick.
