Hello everybody,
I own a Marauder 3R and a Roughneck 2A. Both have a similar setup. The Marauder uses 4ML and 2 LBX10, the Roughneck uses 3MPL and 1 LBX20. But for some reason, when I do comparable damage, the experience gained and money earned seems to be ca. 25-50% higher on the Marauder. Which surprises me, seeing as the Marauder is the heavier Mech and as such should probably have an easier time getting the damage. Neither of them is a Hero variant, either. Am I imagining things, or is there a difference between Mechs based on something I am not aware of?

Weird Differences In Cbill And Experience Earned

A lot of other variables to consider, like components destroyed, kills/assists, lance in formation, etc.

yea, watch your kill asists on end screen,. The marauder survives longer then the roughneck normally and the med lasers have higher range then mpulse lasers, also the lbx10´s and the LBX 10 has shorter cooldown then the 20 means you have higher firerate. Maybe you have more assists through longer survival with the marauder and you do more damage with longer range of lbx 10 and firerate.?
Watch the endscreen summary
I l also have the Marauder3r(S) runs with 4med puls and 2UAC5´s and LFE 315 requires a good weapon group managment because the 4mpuls are hot but loooove that Mech good agility / speed. Survives long and makes good damage, also through the 30% Cbill bonus iam getting mostly with over 300K Cbills out of match.
this post shows whats all in the endscreen counts for the resulst /matchscore: https://mwomercs.com...tch-notes-13345

That post is almost 4 years old, but I'm not aware of any major changes in the numbers. The main difference is a while ago, match score was refactored based on those variables. There's a discussion of match score in a different thread somewhere.
OP, the end of round screen details your payouts. Getting more assists is one of the most likely changes you might be seeing. Savior kills would also be one to look for as that pays better than most rewards and isn't something you would normally track.

Also be aware there is a large bonus for winning by objective* rather than killing the enemy team off.
* Objectives to complete with enemy team still alive:
- Assault = Cap the enemy base
- Conquest = collect max resources
- Domination = your team reduces timer to zero
- Incursion = destroy the enemy base

Lbx in general will be it's own goofy factor. For example the lbx does double crit damage per pellet (2 crit as opposed to 1 std). The random chance from them tend to wildly vary your crit component and component (limb) destruction rates. The crit destruction for individual weapons may be higher for the dbl lbx.
Other things include aggression, how long you remain engaged, time to kill, etc.
But most importantly... Is one of them an "(s)"?

Your Marauder has better range than the Roughneck. That will lead you to receive extra reawrds for various things more often.
