After that the hardest to complete for the majority were probably the Defensive kills and assault win by capping missions on day 3.
Good event, turrets mission probably 2 turret kills would have been enough. Hope we get the details a little sooner so we can maybe give feedback on what might benefit from slight adjustments, a lot of us expected day 3 to be the hardest, frankly i didnt even notice the turret's mission / consider its difficulty because of the reward.

I would adjust my drop deck before I clicked in, no reason to have everyone else wait longer.

These events were sold to be for loyalist when you killed FP with 1 bucket.
I don't really understand the Loyalist mindset.... if you need to have an in-lore explanation, can't you just pretend you're an allied auxiliary force? I am (was?) a member of HHoD... I created a new unit for the purposes of these events, called DEXF... Davion Expeditionary Forces. I went Kurita for a while in Kurita vs Davion, just told people I was a deep cover spy, then at the end switched back to Davion to help the war effort. It was fun, got to play some people I am usually on the same side with.
With the Jade Falcon vs Wolf thing, its gonna be a similar thing, the Jade Falcons have asked for (and received) some additional personnel to help in their war against the Wolves, and in return will trade technological secrets that will help NAIS develop new weapons. Boom, lorified. You can justify pretty much anything here. its not like it's forever, I'll probably be a loyalist Davion again at some point.
You gotta accept that the population of this game is not large enough for everyone at all times to have faction events that involve their specific faction. There are too many different groups, and not enough players in most of them.

Today I got an awkward feeling though. If CGB was a choice I would have picked it without even any thought of rewards. Instead I find myself carefully planning how I should swap between contracts so that I can maximize my own loyalty/merc rewards during the event. For me this is unfortunatelly a way to say: I dont really care who wins as long as I can get the most personal gain out of it as possible.
It strikes me how much it must have hurt the game mode when "belonging to a clan feeling" turned into an only clan vs IS mode.

its like the bottom fell out as soon as the event was over
so there still needs to be a way to keep players interested going past just the
event dates

Were you in a group, or solo? I was trying to scout solo last night, it was a long wait... then joined a group, was much faster.

FP is already the red headed step child of MWO so launch events that only tailor to 2 factions at a time? I must have missed something....
If not....
the faction vs faction events should run concurrently and be shuffled at the end..... whats the point of an exclusion event? To me...unless Im missing something....pls tell me. These events are just as unnattractive as regular FP to anyone not involved?
Im not sure on the thinking here.....it cant be THAT difficult to run conurrent events Faction VS Faction accross all houses clans? Clans vs houses?
Im seriously waiting to be educated on this
Zyro
Im not disbanding my unit of 71 to play in an event. I don't care how easy it is to switch sides.....which is also kinda weak

There's really not enough people playing the game to support that though, unfortunately. I'd love it if it was an option, but FP often has a few minutes wait time even during prime time if you're with a group, it would be much worse if half the population or more is doing the event.

You change your faction to the faction which is needed for the conflict. You don't lose any loyality points.
You do the challenge. And after you have finished the challenge. (The challenges will probably not require loyality points, so you do not need to bother for the 10 probation matches.)
You change back to your original faction. Now you have to do 10 probation matches. Which can be done in scouting.

Because some of us are loyalists... thats why...
They should dish out a bouns for the length of time youve been with a faction for these events.
